Need Help Finding Doctor To Prescribe Either Oxycodone Vicodin Or Methadone 10mg For My Chronic Pain (Page 18)

I have been suffering from chronic pain for 7 years and have always been on and off pain meds from tylenol 3 to 90mg methadone at the worst of any ever taken. I decided to dose down & get off of methadone as I did not care for the "clinic" enviroment per say as I was using more for pain then for addicition. I found a dr that prescribed me the pain meds for breakthrough pain and the pill form of methadone 10mg was what I chose but now he is gone as he lost his license which sucks for me because NO ONE will give me anything, not even the methadone unless I go back to the stupid clinc and I so don't want that... DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A DR. that would prescribe anything or just something to get me through life with less pain? I am in the twin cities of Minnesota and I will drive if need be.

Have you tried to get a doctor who will suggest that surgery is needed? That is how you can get an approval.

Right now another star is dead and they are saying it was probably a drug over dose and he had prescriptions. Percocet and Oxycodone. This has lead many doctors to stop prescribing. There is a strong move to get doctors to stop prescribing opiates. My doctor feels surgery was would be too dangerous for me.
Yet I have never been given anything stronger than Norco.
Even pain management physicians are quitting.

Please share names of drs u know of in mn. I have had issues with some, not because i am a drug seeker, but because some of them have rules that were ridiculous, accusatory staff who canceled your pain contract first and asked questions last. Tooo late. i need a pain dr or physician who listens to what works for me... im loosing hope and my condions getting worse. Please write me back and ill help you with what i know.

My doctor recently passed away and I have taken so much pain medication from going to different doctors that the only thing that works for me is the combination of oxycodone 10/325 and neurontin 400mg. Can some one here in NY upper west side help me with a doctor?

Tramadol is known to cause seizures. In other words, seizures are a side effect of Tramadol. Your symptoms could be seizure activity. Tell your doctor what's happening after you take it.

Brim in Pa tramadol has been upgraded to schedule3 the DEA is making it to where the people that need them are f***ed like me. These junkies have ruined a perfectly good thing. I was able to walk without pain but thanks to the holy war on drugs my x doctor was forcing me off my meds so I left to another place which got shutdown. Now I can't find anyone that will help me and it sux, f*** the DEA & junkies.

Rnld L33 , Tramadol is a Schedule IV drug. It can be called in and up to 5 refills can be given on one prescription. You also do not have to see your dr at least once every 90 days. But, it is up to each dr how they chose to prescribe Tramadol.

I have a dr. thats totally cool about that stuff. You tell him whats wrong, he'll ask, "What has worked best for you on the past?" Then he'll totally prescribe you a small dose at first. Like I have knee problems then he asked me the question, I gave him my answer and he's starting me off with 60 pills which only lasts 15 days, he told me to come back and see him in 1 mo. To talk about how its working and he'll do that till you both get it right. Anyway, his name is Dr. Kevin Gardner, he works in Layton, Ut at the building right next door to Davis hospital's main entrance. His phone number is 801-773-4770. Sassy, Tramadol is Not considered a Schedule II med Federally. There are one or two states where Tramadol is a Schedule II under state law. Put, your state name Tramadol Drug Scheduling, in google and you can find out what schedule Tramadol is in your state. You can also put, DEA Tramadol Drug Scheduling, in google and read that it has been a Schedule IV for a few yrs.

Does anyone know a pain md in Lancaster, CA or the Los Angeles area that will treat well documented case of intractable pain due to RSD spinal cord injury along with degeneration of disc etc. Pt has been in pain mgt for21yrs . They have medical.??? Thanks

I know a primary Dr to write Xanax in Mint Hill. Dr Kenard. And the pain doc who he can refer you to would let you take 3 mgs a day. ( of zanax)or he will not write but first you go to Kenard, then get a referral to Gaston PC in Gastonia. They will write if you are legit.
