Narrow White Coated Tablet That's Light Brown Inside

Hi, I found this white tablet (not a capsule). It’s a bit narrower and longer than most. Broken in half, the inside is a light brown color and has a peculiar smell (inside, once broken). An exhaustive search online yields nothing that tells me what it definitely could be. Anyone know?

I found some small white round ~8mm pills at my sister’s place and I want to know what they are. They were just in her pill case, no packaging. I thought it was odd they were unmarked, so I took one. Later at home I licked it to see if it was a mint. It wasn't, and instead, I found that with much licking, it revealed a tan inside. The coating I licked off didn't really taste like anything, I'm pretty sure it's cornstarch by the texture and all of it. The tan tablet inside tasted bitter, I barely tasted it though. Can someone please help me identify it? I wish I could add a photo, I can answer any more questions. Perhaps I should cut/crush it to give more detail or to smell it?

Did you find out what this was? I found similar pills that my roommate has. They are inside a prescription bottle that is not the correct drug. I am wondering if I should be concerned.

Long narrow white oblong pill. When cut in half it's light brown that turns darker when wet. Smells herbal or tea like.

Hello Jimbo,

In the United States all perscription and over the counter drugs are required by the FDA to have an imprint. If the pill that you found does not have an imprint it is possible that it is some sort of vitamin, energy pill or a foreign drug.

If you are dead set on identifying the pill I would suggest taking it into your nearest CVS or pharmacy and ask them for assistance. Otherwise I would suggest disposing of the pill at your nearest drug drop off.

Also, it has no markings. No imprint or numbers or anything like that. It also lacks any kind of scoring.

Btw it’s more of an oblong shape than oval, similar to an excedrin or tylenol, just slightly narrower and slightly longer.
