Chonic pain been dianosed for over 10 years. Government regulation have made Doctors cut your medication by almost half and know it is not enough. Doctors are saying that the Feds are stopping them from properly treating especially chronic pain due to major trama and or illness. Can we legally get the meds we need from out of the country sources?

No, you cannot.

Ordering a medication from another country and having it imported into the U.S. is illegal if there is an equivalent approved medication here.

Even if you are visiting another country and have something prescribe there, you are limited to only being allowed to bring up to 3 months worth of it into the U.S. with you.

There are actually exceptions to the restrictions for patients with a severe illness that could be terminal, such as cancer, but not many others.

I understand how frustrating it is for everyone and that many are no longer receiving adequate pain control, however, I also have no solutions to offer, I wish I did.

Even if your doctor wrote a prescription for more, a pharmacy isn't allowed to fill it.

These types of regulations also aren't new, they just weren't being strictly enforced in the past, but the government has started cracking down due to the high rates of abuse and addiction.

Are there any other questions or comments?
