oval, pink, number 149 on one side & 93 on the other ## need to know what this pill is for? ## This is 500 mg of Naproxen manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals. It is an anti-inflammatory and pain killer. ## Need to know what this pill is prescribed for and how it compares to vicodin or percocet. ## Al, although it is used as a pain reliever it is not like Vicodin or Percocet. Unlike those two medications Naproxen is not a narcotic (opiate) and is technically not subject to physical addiction over time.

I found a round yellowish pill in my daughter's room and on one side it says "syntex" and the other had the number 272. Can you please tell me what it is? I can't find any credible information. Thank you. ## Hmmm, I wish I had a more detailed response for you at this point, but I am guessing that it is a foreign medication. The reason is because all prescription drugs manufactured in the U.S. are required to have unique imprint codes and are readily available in domestic databases. Either that, or it could also be an over the counter product - but I am leaning more towards a foreign medication because the manufacturer name Syntex 273 is reportedly Naproxen 375 mg, which is used for pain relief but it is not a narcotic. just wondering what this is for?? i found 2 pills marked with this L368 at the bottom of my high blood pressure meds. ## This is an over the counter tablet containing 220mgs of Naproxen, a generic or store brand of Aleve.
