I've been diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension age 21 an have been prescribed both naproxen and tramacet!! Does any one know if I can take the two together????? ## Hi little one, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between the active ingredients in Tramacet and Naproxen. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. That said, I would personally feel safe taking the two together. You may also want to consider adding some natural alternatives to the mix (such as essential oils), in conjunction with a diet high in potassium and magnesium (more fruits and veggies). My friend thinks her pills are vicodine, I have looked them up and found they r naproxin. is there any way a white oblong pill with ip190 on one side and 500 on the other b anything other than naproxin ## Hi Ashley, The imprint you mentioned "IP 190 500" is identified as Naproxen 500mg, and ONLY that. It is manufactured by Akyma Pharmaceuticals. I was able to verify this on a number of websites as well, so you can be rest assured it is just that. Some people actually misinterpret the look of the pill and think that it is Hydrocodone (Vicodin), since the look of the oblong white pill is "similar" but this is not the case here. I found two lightblue pills with 13 on oneside and the other with nothing on it. I was wanting to know what they where. cause i don't need anyone of us that rare in my house ta get sick if we was ta take any of them 2 ## The best solution is to simply not take something, if you don't know what it is, the best thing to do would be to dispose of any medication you can't identify. However, these tablets with the I3 marking contain 220mgs of Naproxen, they are a generic, or store brand of Aleve, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. I have BV and dont wanna go to doctors when I already know what it is. I have had it before. I am just wondering if Naproxen Sodium can be used to treat the BV. Since BV is not an infection and just an inflammation I figured maybe it could help. ## Hi Brittany, If BV is an inflammation and not an infection, I would definitely see that Naproxen would be a good choice over other types of prescription drugs. I am haveing tooth pain is RDY 273 a good pill to take to help take away the pain? ## Have you consulted a dentist? orange coated pill ( I found my dog chewing on this so most of the colour was gone.) its a larger pill clean on one side and N 500 stamped on the other. Can I use flanax 550g naproxeno for my molar pain due to bad cavity ## Have you consulted your dentist? Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that may help with pain and swelling, but if there is an infection involved, due to the bad tooth, it won't help with that.

It is a small round white pill with 93 on one side and 5337 on the other. ## I was unable to locate a match for the imprint "93 5337", but I did however find a match for "93 537". Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking? (93 537 also fits your physical description of the pill, other than the fact that it is oval shaped as opposed to a circle/round). Does this still sound like a possible match? If so, it is identified as being Naproxen sodium (550mg). my mother is on naproxen for a while and she will be talking and she starts mumbering and speech is slurred, she will be sitting watching tv and i will look over and she will be nodding. she takes 3 times a day for norpoxisy(spell?).could she be on it to long she has started smoking again not alot could this have some thing to do with it. ## I'm not sure what medical condition you are looking for here, is it possibly neuropathy? And as to the medication, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so no it shouldn't cause such severe issues. What dosage does she take? Has she consulted a doctor?

I am in Houston, TX. Where can I buy Flanax for my mother who has arthritis? ## Please note that Flanax isn't available at local US-based pharmacies. However, it is readily available OTC on Amazon who does ship products all across America, so I would encourage you to check there first. The active ingredient in Flanax is Naproxen, so alternatively you could also look for another product that contains that as the active ingredient, such as Aleve, or the equivalent store brands and generics. I was told not to take ibuprofen. Is Naproxen the same ingredients and side effects. ## Why were you told not to take it? This would be a factor in determining the proper answer. Naproxen contains the active ingredient Naproxen, it is not the exact same medication as Ibuprofen, but it is in the same drug class, which means it is also an NSAID. Therefore, if you were told to stay away from all NSAIDs, then you shouldn't take it.
