I am taking 500 mg. of naproxen, with 500 mg. of metamizol sodico and tylenol. I am worried about any drug interactions. this would be short term use for a bad back spasm. ## Oddly enough, I'm not finding any specific drug interaction details relating to Metamizole or its brand names. I'm assuming this may be a foreign medication, as that would explain why it's not listed in U.S. drug interaction checkers. However with regards to Naproxen and Tylenol, there are no drug interactions listed between the two. So I get the sense that you should be fine taking those together. Is your current doctor the one who prescribed Metamizole with the other two medications? If not, you may want to double check with him/her just to be on the safe side. I hope this helps!

oxycod apap 5 325 mg or naproxen 500 mg which is better for neck pain and back pain ## These are two very different medications, which treat pain in different ways. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen is a generic for Percocet, it is a narcotic (opiate) analgesic. Thus it does carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Percocet details here. But the Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. i felt light headed, my balance while walking slowing was affected causing me to sway a bit to left and right. I took 14 pills as directed by my doctor. 2 pills every day after eating some food. I was bound up, not having a bowel movement for 5 days. When I notice the effect that the pill was having on my body, I stopped taking the pill. I had used 14 pills in a prescription of 20. I had a visit with my doctor and she made an appointment to have an mri on my head. Monday, i will have my mri. ## Hi Paul, Sorry to hear about your experience with naproxen. From what I've read, constipation is in fact listed as a side effect. My dentist just gave me teva-naproxen but it's not effiecient. Last time, he gave me something else but I don't remember the name... Recently started using Sudafed for my sinuses, would any of these cause a false positive for meth? ## Based on my research, none of the drugs mentioned are "notable" for causing a false positive for meth: Naproxen (Aleve) - false positive for THC, Marijuana Anaprox - false positive for THC, Marijuana Bactrim - may test positive for benzodiazepines Percocet - will test positive (not false) for opiates "The chances of you getting a false positive depends on the quality of the laboratory that does the testing.
