HELP!! Hi, I live in Central Washington but, I'd be more than happy to drive to a doctor whom will prescribe me methadone, antdepressants and Something for sleeping and anxiety!!! I hate going to the clinic EVERY SINGLE morning and worse than that, it cost.me almost 8,000$ a year!!! They say I make too much money on disability to qualify for Medicaid or any kind of deductions!! My check is 1,273$per month and the frickin clinic gets over 600$ a month! It makes no sense that not only do some people get it free, they have a showfur pick them up and take them there and back every single day!! I looked into it and it literally costs SEVERAL thousands of dollars per person!! Just the transportation part of it!! I'm going off subject here, sorry. I would be happy to drive several hours a month to go and see a Doctor who could prescribe me what I'm so desperately needing!! I could even pay him/her cash, and it would be a substantial amount of savings for myself also!! If anyone knows of any one that I can see, your input is GREATLY appreciated!!! Thank you!!! I would drive anywhere in Washington and probably Oregon also!! Thank you again!

Unfortunately, under current FDA laws, if you have been going to a Methadone clinic, a private physician is not allowed to prescribe it for you, so continuing with a clinic is your only option. Private doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment, so even if that isn't why you were going to the clinic, that is what is noted in your medical records.
The FDA warns that Methadone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
Does anyone else have any other ideas that might help?
