The answer to your question would be no; reason being is that Naltrexone is an opioid receptor antagonist used primarily in the management of alcohol dependence and opioid dependence (not for smoking and obesity).

"The Chicago Stop Smoking Research Project at the University of Chicago found that Naltrexone did not help improve study subjects to quit smoking any better than a placebo would."

Hi, I have never heard of naltrexone being used for food cravings. I am taking it to combat alcoholism, and one side effect I've noticed in me is that I no longer desire junk food, or eating for pleasure. I only want food when I'm hungry now, and I don't have strong cravings for junk food. I'm skinny; i dropped from 118lbs to 105, not because I tried but because the desire to eat just went away unless I get hungry. So, it may or may not work. Maybe it's all in my head. But it is not FDA approved for that purpose so it would be hard to find a dr to rx it for that.
