Nac 600mg Supplements

I've learned that this supplement by the name of NAC is a supplement that covers just about any ailment or vice you could think of. It's evidently a secret or just not widely known about. However, I've done my research & I've asked questions and this is what I've learned this far... NAC has the ability to diminish certain drug cravings & cease drug use in cocaine addicts, nicotine addicts, marijuana addicts & even methamphetamine addicts!! Also, it provides mental health patients with mental clarity & helps with depression as well. It has so many benefits, there's no way I could possibly cover them all here. It's actually used in hospitals where patients had overdosed on acetaminophen as they administer it in high doses, thus keeping the patient alive & well. I bought my first bottle and I'm only on day #2. I will definitely keep this post updated for anyone who is interested.

I also take it. I take 1,200 mg twice daily and it's not for recovery or as ibuprofen. I have a habit when I'm under stress or bored and I scratch my head. It use to get so bad that I would dig and dig and draw blood. With Klonopin to bring down the anxiety and the NAC to help control the compulsiveness, I'm doing a lot better. The trouble is it's difficult to find. I have to go to a speciality compounding pharmacy miles away. N-acetyl cysteine is the given name. Oh, NAC is not FDA-approved for any mental health conditions or substance use disorders. It’s important to talk with your healthcare provider if you’re considering using NAC. Hey, it works for me is all I know! :)
Actually, it can help your body put back what nutrients are lost during " withdrawls" or detox, but it does not stop the active symptoms of coming off any narcotics-- hence one should be careful and have medical supervision when coming off any drug(s)
Re: VerFree (# 1)
I've been taking it for a few weeks, inconsistently though. Therefore, I can't really say because I haven't been taking it as directed. However, I'm gonna stick to the directions and see if I can benefit from it.
It isn't that it is a secret, it is that these claims have not actually been able to be proven in repeatable laboratory studies. There are some promising studies showing that it may help with certain medical conditions, such as this one on the National Institutes of Health website, however. But actual proof is a different ballgame.
The use of it for Acetaminophen overdose is proven, and replicable.
There is really no harm in trying it, as long as it isn't contraindicated with a condition you have, or some other medication you take, though.
How long have you been taking it, now? What are your current experiences?
