Muscle Relaxers, Cyclobenzaprine Hcl Tab 10 Mg

I still have a prescription from 2015. I have been having back pain and cramping. It is now 2017. Is it still safe to take the medication that I have now?

This medication doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it can lose efficacy, so it may not work as well as it did, when new.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

The best thing to do would be to dispose of and see your doctor for a new prescription, if one is necessary.
