please also let me know what will happen in the future if i do not continue to take this medication. I am 46. I have had a dexa scan and that was fine. So I am not sure why I am taking this. I am also b12 diff and potass diff. any info would be helpful

If you doctor recommended it or prescribed it, then your best bet would be to talk to them to discuss why you are taking it. None of us here can know why you were started on it and none of us can guess why you might still need it.
