Multaq And Eating Before Taking

It's been a full week now since I have been on Multaq and since I was converted out of atrial flutter. No problems, except that I have to eat before I take it, which is one of its instructions.

Very glad to hear that this medication is working for you and helping with your problem!

Multaq contains the active ingredient Dronerdarone and is mainly used to treat cardiac arrhythmia.

Most medications require you to take them with food, or just before eating, or they will upset your stomach and this one is no exception.

My cardio. Dr. Put me on multag after I had an A Fib episode . I work out daily 2hr ..remember getting a little dehydrated and using the Sunna and over worked on bike...heart rate 160. Did not have any after affects no pain in chest or arms no fainting. Next day went for yearly check found lipid panel was v. Excellent for 70 year young. I was in A Fib ...gave me shock back to normal rhythm ... Should i change my diet to include these drugs ?I'm on cumadin also multag. Don't think I need eather ..never been hospitalized weight Normal
Don't have history of heart disease in family....
Could this be a one time thing?
