Mox 500 Mg Dosage

Mox 500 mg twice daily for how many days to be given.
For Asthma patient Mox 500mg or Mox Clav 375 which one is most advicable

Neither!

Amoxicillin, in either formulation, is an antibiotic and it is only effective at treating infections.

Asthma is caused by inflamed airways due to allergies and other adverse stimuli, so an antibiotic is not going to help with it.

I have one stent placed before six years. Now i have to remove wisdom tooth. Doctor presc ribed me three table tomorrow and following dose on the day after tomorrow (on the day of removal).
8am -one
12.00noon-one
5pm -four
6.30pm -surgery or removal
one hour after removal-two

is it safe to take such large dose?
Please advise as I have to start medicine after 10 hours and I have stopped clopivas -ap 75 (blood thinning medicine)

Shabbir, it is normal for an antibiotic to be given as a preventative measure, before dental procedures, for anyone that has had some type of heart surgery, or heart disease.

Often, asthma patients get bronchial infections or fluid in the lungs. THAT is when antibiotics are used. Those conditions obviously adversely effect asthma, which can be very difficult. Our daughter is 8 and she takes 400 mg twice daily for 10 days.
