Pink oval pill with 5114 carved on side. ## Is there a V on the other side? If so, then you do have the correct ID and dosage. ## I took three porpoxns yesterday. Will they show up as positive in a random drug test? If so will it show up as an opiate? ## It totally depends on what they are testing for. It's not considered an opiate, i.e derived from opium as morphine is for example, but both Darvocet and Tramadol are considered opioids (opiate like).

I found a pill that is round and green in color. It says 30 on one side and looks like it says E 653 on the other side. Is this Morphine? Is it injectable? ## Yes, this is Morphine CR 30mgs, a generic for MS Contin. And NO IT IS NOT INJECTABLE! It is a tablet for a reason, am injectible would be a liquid. This is a 12 hour time released tablet. ## Yes it is injectible, you just need to know how to do it. Most people try to say no heat applied, but i have found that if you crush the pill add 2cc of water, or a little more, then bring to a boil. The gel stuff will still be there, just throw your micron filter or cotton in there and move it around to collect all of the loose liquid. After you've gotten all of it out you can, i add a little more water to solution then repeat. nice buzz

I received a phone call today from my pharmacy. The Morphine Sulfer I take was recalled back in Aug. Now I am to take my medicine in tomorrow and they will give me fresh. Sounds odd to me. What about all of the medicine I have been taking? Has anyone else had experience with this? What should I do? Thanks, Cindy. ## There was a recall for 30mgs and 60mgs Morphine Sulfate tablets manufactured by the Ethex Corporation back in June, this is due to the danger of overdosing with the tablets. They could release too much medication at once, which could be fatal. If you are wondering why the recall was so long ago and why you are just now hearing about it, it is more than likely because your pharmacy purchased their Morphine stock quite awhile ago. When they order their medications, they usuall...

E658 blue oblong tablet, possibly Morphine? I had 11 tablets in 8 hours and no reaction. Can they be old and out of date? ## Yes, this is the 100mgs tablet of Morphine ER, a generic for MSContin. This is a time released tablet, so only a small amount of the medication is released over a period of 12 hours. Though you may not feel an effect, you could still be killing yourself with such behaviour. It does have effects on your stomach, liver, kidneys and brain that you cannot feel. The age of the tablets can also have an effect as they do become less effective over time. This is, clearly, an outrageously dangerous amount to be taking in the short of a time period. Please see a doctor.

i am taking morphine 15mg right now.i have a very bad lower back pain. it doesn't help as much as it should. my friend that had problems with his back took oxycontin and he said that help him with his pain.would that be better and if so are there any down fall ## Opiates are generally less effective for skeletal pain than for say, gut pain and muscular pain. Oxycodone might make a small difference, based on the fact that the comparative doses for one drug and another aren't exact, so depending on your source of information, and your doctor's, the equivalent dose of one drug to the other might be effectively slightly higher or lower. The other consideration is that oxycontin is the slow release form of oxycodone, so if you haven't tried the slow release form of morphine, ...

I have a friend who wears a patch on their back. They also drink and take ibprophen, and some vicoden. Isn't this extremely dangerous? I tried to discuss this issue and they told me the doctor said it is fine. ## It's okay.. all except the drinking. All people on a patch should be taking a short acting narcotic as well for flare up pain. The IB is also okay. You should get them to stop drinking though. ## If it is all prescribed by their doctor, then they are monitoring their use, the problem starts when someone is combining them and they aren't prescribed. As to the drinking, no, that should never be combined with narcotics, that is very dangerous and even lethal in some situations. ## It depends what kind of patch it is. If it's the morphine patch I would seriously ste...

has anybody seen this blue in color? ## yes i belive my pills are blue morphine sulfate w/ a sqare w/ a m around it and 15 on other side. ## There is no regulation in the prescription drug industry regarding the color of pills, they can be any color the manufacturer feels like making them. oval and green says 3 on one side and 15 on the other ## After doing some searching, I believe you are looking at one side of the pill upside down, the marking should be E 15, the E is stylized as it is the logo for Ethex Pharmaceuticals. I always got small bluegreen pills the new ones are pink with a 30 on one side and a 3 on the other ## Well once a medication is available for generic manufacture, it is made by many different companies and each tablet will look different and have a different marking on it. The color, size and shape really means nothing, they are only required to have unique imprints on the pills to identify the manufacturer, drug and dosage. Now that said, I cannot find anything listed in the US prescription drug databases for anything with just a 30 and a 3 on it, are there any other markings? ## Okay, never mind, I figured it out, that is not a 3 on the other side, it is a stylized E, which is the logo that Ethex uses on some of their pills. This is indeed just another Morphine ER 30mgs.

teal and white capsule ## There are many morphine 60mgs available on the market in both capsules and pills forms. Without providing me with the full imprint on your capsule, I cannot confirm what it is, or provide any information. There are no proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry that says all pills or capsules with the same ingredients have to look the same. Their size, shape, and color are entirely up to the manufactured and how they decide to make them. If you respond back with the imprint on your capsule, I will gladly check what it is for you, and let you know. Thank you! ## -teal & white @ 60mg on one side of capsule 506 on other white side ## Okay, thanks, that makes it much easier to identify. The @ sign is actually meant to be an E, it is drug company logo....
