pain injection ## My sister is on this drug wioth Morphine, Soma, Xanax 10 QID 7 PROZAZ FOR BACK PAIN. her is getting worsw so her medications are getting stronger. We aew worried. She has dependancy problency befe & her Des. Don't know this. A Worried Faily ## Not long ago i had a surgery and was given dilaudin. It interfered with some of my other medications (an antidepressant, moodstabilizer, antianxiety...) and I almost died. My blood pressure dropped dangerously low, my oxygen levels plummeted, and they had to call a code blue. Fortunately I had a nurse who acted quickly and gave me an injection of something that neutralized the dilaudin and they did not have to rescusitate me. The pill i found is red and oblong shaped. It has the number 200 on one side and the letter N on the other side of the pill on both sides (N I N) Like this. My friend is prescribed morphine sulfate only and has been urine tested twice with the same results of oxycodone and opiates, how can this be? ## Well, Morphine is an opiate and the false positive for Oxycodone is probably due to the test itself. The less expensive non-certified tests are known to give false positives anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. What has his doctor said about it?

i have allergys and i find that when i take statex for heart pain that my allergy symptoms disappear why??? ## I really don't have any answer for that, have you asked your doctor about it? Morphine is a very potent narcotic that's used to treat chronic, severe pain. Are you sure you are suffering from allergies and not some other condition?

what is the difference between a 30mg blue morphin and a maroon 30mg ## Are there any markings on the tablets you are asking about? I can't provide you with any specific information just based on the colors, since they don't actually mean anything. There are, however, several possibilities. They could just be manufactured by different companies, or one may be a time released tablet and the other a regular release formulation.

Hi iam takeing morphine sulfate er 15mg my dr just started me on these one every 12 hours I took one at 5am it is now 12pm would it hurt me to take a nuther one...??? Iam in pain I was takeing methadon 10mg x3 but I wanted off of it so my ? Is can I take a nuthher morphine? ## Have you contacted your doctor? It isn't advisable to take them closer together, than the 12 hour dosing, unless your doctor specifically advises you to do so. It could result in your getting too much of the Morphine at once and may result in an overdose. Even though you have been switched to another narcotic, if you stopped the Methadone abruptly, without tapering, then you are likely to experience some withdrawal and rebound effects, which could result in pain that's much worse for a few weeks.

I have a valid perscription for Morphine, but I took significantly more than perscribed the day before the test. will the urine test be able to determine exact quantities of the morphine or will my script be enough. In most cases your employer, parole officer and etc. will only go a general test to check for the presence of drugs. They don't actually look at the levels of it. Your doctor, however, knows where your levels should be and will usually look at those, as well, so they will be alerted if you took more or less than you were supposed to.

However, it doesn't work as well for everyone, similar to Full of Heart, when I was on pain management and had to switch, due to my insurance no longer covering Oxycontin, it helped, but never worked quite as well as the Oxycontin did. why do the green make so sick when the red older pills didn't ## Have you consulted your doctor about this? There are several different things that could be causing it. If you've been taking it for a long time, you may have suffered some stomach damage that's causing it. There can be slight variations in generics, so you might be getting more of the medication than you were used to getting. I had a HORRIBLE reaction to percocet. Vommiting, rash, itching. It made me feel so awful. I felt horribly sick! I even tried taking it with benadryl like the doctor said. No difference at all. Does anybody know of any pain meds that don't contain Morphine? I had been taking the max dose of 2 10mg lortab every 4hrs and it gave me little or no pain relief at all, wich was the reason for switching me to 1 10/325mg percocet every 4hrs. I have arthritis in my lower back and my L3&L4 discs are buldging & my L5 discs is completly blown. From this it affects my ciatic nerve causing drop foot and severe pain in my left foot & leg. I go to the neurosurgeon on May 31st. Tommorow I go to doctor to discuss the reaction to percocet and what we are going to do for my pain. Any advice ...

Can you shoot up the round purple morphine with M on one side and MS 30 on the other? And of you can, what's the best way to do it? ## It is actually not safe to try to break down and inject any medication that has not been specially formulated to be used in such a manner. Tablets, especially time released products, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled as waste. However, when you inject them, you are placing these substances into your body in a manner, in which, it cannot properly process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, which could lead to stroke, embolism, or heart attack. Are there any questions or comments?

I am new to this fourm, and I have a few questions someone may be able to answer. I have chronic back pain as a result of Cauda Equina Snydrome, and an injury at L5/S1. My Pain Mgt doc made a med change about 3 wks ago. I was one taking Oxycodone 15 MG tablets, but I was still having a LOT of breakthrough pain. As of 3 wks ago, my doc ADDED Morphine Sulf 15 MG's SRT. The combination of the two meds appears to be working but there are still some minor pain issues. I spoke with my doc the other day and we will talk again on Feb 2nd. He told me he thinks going to the 15 MG Morphine Sulf every 8 hrs, vs 12 hrs will help. He also wanted to see if I could go to 10 MG's of Oxycodone as needed 8 hrs, vs 15 MG's of Oxycodone as needed every 8 hrs. In sum, the 15's MG's of Mor...
