I am having trouble with my vision, I just increased from 1800 mgs a day to 2400 mgs per day ## That is quite a high dosage to be taking and, the more you take of any medication, the more side effects you will experience, even if it is split into several even doses over the day. I take 60 mg of morphine 3 times daily. Last month i was prescribed Mylan which seem to help me more than Mallinckrodt, which i got this month. i have been on morphine sulfate 60mg er for 3 months. the color of the pills have been pink with abg on one side and 60 on the other....this past rx i noticed that half of the pills are colored dark orange....abg on one side 60 on the other..i just want to make sure that they are the same strength...has anyone had this same thing happen to them...any answer would be very appreciated.. ## I just looked up the imprint ABG 60, and the orange pill is in fact Morphine sulfate CR 60 mg. It is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals. One possible difference other than the color, could be that the orange pill is noted to be "controlled release (CR)" instead of what you mentioned the pink one to be- "extended release (ER)". Does Tramacet contain any of the ingredients that you find in Morphine syrup? I have an ABG 30 mg tablet I know it is Morphine, But I was wondering if I could mix it with a generic xanax shaped like a football with the imprints v 2087 ## The general problem between mixing a narcotic (Morphine) and a Benzodiazepine (Xanax) is that they can both cause depression of the central nervous system. Thus, taking them both at the same time may result in severe drowsiness/sedation, lowered blood pressure, lowered heart rate and shallow breathing. I took half of a 15mg is it safe to take a percocet? ## Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and the Oxycodone is also a narcotic, so combining them both could cause the risk of overdose, or even just depression of the central nervous system. Can be snorted? Or best way to get into body (system) quickly ## It isn't safe to try to use any pill in a manner in which it was not intended. Tablets, especially these times released products, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, instead they are normally just expelled in your waste. Crushing a pill to snort it, or mix it for injecting places these substances into your body in a manner, in which, it cannot be properly processed out and this creates the risk of blockages. If they were snorted, this could cause respiratory arrest and injecting could cause stroke, or embolism. Are there any other questions or comments?

I was wondering what milligram the little orange morphine pill with D on one side and 2 on the other, is???..... ## Hi D, Are you certain that this is a Morphine pill? Only asking because I came across another thread (linked above) with a similar pill description, stating that it is 2mgs of Hydromorphone; please correct me if I'm wrong here. In any case, the number imprint on the pill is generally indicative of the dosage of the drug. This tends to hold true in most cases, but if your pill is not Hydromorphone, then I haven't found any specific details "confirming" the dosage. I hope this helps!
