I took to 15 mg 24 extended release morphine pills and slowly ot started making me feel sick and after about 8 hours it made me throw up. This morning I woke up and I still felt the effects of it but not as bad as yesterday. But the thing that worries me is I this morning I felt my neck and I had about two lumps on it and now I feel like I have a third coming up. Is it an allergic reaction and if so will it go away? ## Where are the lumps located? If they are due to swollen glands, that could be due to an allergic reaction, but you should have it checked out by your doctor to be sure. How different is Morphine Sulfate 30mg E 653 from a 30mg perocet, and is it dangerous to take it like its a percocet or vicodin, is it ok to take in severe cases of plantars fasciitis ## There is no 30mg Percocet, so I assume you're talking about a regular release Oxycodone tablet, whereas Percocet would contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. As to a comparison, Oxycodone is actually one and half times stronger than Morphine, so it would take 45mgs of Morphine to equal 30mgs of the Oxcycodone, so you may not get as much pain relief, as you would from the Oxycodone. I was taking 30mg oxycodone and the doctor switched to 15 mg Morphine ER and 15mg oxycodone and the pain is the worst it's been in the last 8 months. Am i going crazy or is it possible that the morphine does nothing for me. And if so I can't see the doctor for another 7 days ## 15mg er morphine is the least amount available in the er class of pain meds, er stands for extended release, this means that basically you are receiving 15 mg per 6 hrs, over a 12 hr period. and obviously you receive half of the dose you were getting with oxycodone. long story short, you Dr.isn't doing you any favors, only reducing your pain meds and increasing your pain!, 15 mg er morph doesn't do much at all! ## Morphine when taken by mouth is super weak. Has anyone out there taken this drug twice a day and had persistent nausea??? I thought I'd adjust to the nausea, but it's persistent. Anyone got any advice for me to help with this persistent nausea.? My pain specialist had me on 40 mg Opana ER and 15 mg Morphine Sulfate IR for 8 years. I had to find another doctor and starting next week I will be taking 30 mg Oxymorphone ER every 12 hours and 10 mg Oxycodone IR up to 3 per day. I have been out of my break thru pain med for 2 days now and my pain level averages 9 to 10 every day so I have taken 5 mg valium, Tylenol #3 with codine and a baclofen to stop me from going into withdrawal. I am in palliative care for Multiple sclerosis, Small vessel vasculitis, kidney and heart failure. I also have Cerebral palsy w/spina bifida. I have severe spine degeneration from scoliosis. I can't take NSAIDs anymore. I am allowed only 15mg morphine 3x per day, short acting. I am 65 yrs.old. Doctors tell me I am at risk of respiratory arrest because I also take 1mg of clonazepam 2x daily. I'm in palliative care because I dying, they just can't put a timeline on it. I used to get 100 mg morphine 3x daily w/ norcos for breakthrough pain, for 20 years. I was able to walk, work as a paralegal, garden, ride my horse, go to school. I have chronic back pain and nerve damage to my right side due to a car accident, The neuroligist said the damage is equal to being dropped 7 stories on my left side. Now he is prescribing Morphine Sulfate 15mg and I am worried about the addiction versuses pain relief ## I have been on Morphind sulfate for approx. 3 months now twice daily for back, hip and hand pain due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. It has helped my back and hip pain but not the hand. My biggest problem is that this drug is like swallowing cement, it is terribly constipating. I stopped it for several days just to see if I was, indeed, becoming addicted and the awnser is no. My physical therapist and other nurses have told me not to worry as long as I was in pain I would not become addicted. But of course we are all different...

I am taking morphine sulfate er 30mg tablets twice a day and also taking morphine sulfate imm rel 15mg once, sometimes twice a day. Finances won't allow me to get the morphine er at this time. Question: what is dosage of morphine imm per day without morphine er for 5 or 6 day until I can get the morphine er? ## They are both Morphine, so the dosage would be the same, however, the problem you are going to run into is that it is not going to last as long and since it is being released into your body much faster, this will potentiate the side effects, such as the nausea, dizziness and constipation that it can cause. I just want to know if 12mg of hydromorph contin is stronger or weaker than morphine 200mg. Is hydromorph contin a strong opioid just in general? ## Hello, Annabelle! How are you? I have a grey small pill round pms on one side 411 on other side I was told it was morphine 5 mg but it's texture n taste are wrong ## Actually, from what I've been able to find, this tablet is listed as containing Sennosides, which is a laxative, used to treat constipation. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, stomach pain, abdominal cramping and diarrhea. Hello: So I just got something from my insurance company telling me they no longer will pay for oxy 20 or the generic..which is off the market anyway. The substitute is morphine sulfate I believe..that's what they are covering. How much of this do I need to equal one 20mg? I take 3 20's per day.. This dose of Morphine is actually comparable to a 10/325mg Percocet, so it will probably affect you very similarly to that. I'd just suggest that you make sure you aren't driving, for the first few days, until your sure how its going to affect you. its a small maroon, almost brown, lookin pill with a squared in M on one side and a 30 on the other side ## What is the name of this pill? I recently found out that my girlfriend has relapsed with her alcohol addiction. I also found that she has been taking 15mg Morphine ER release 3-4 times a day to help her not want the booze. She has admitted that she now has an issue with the pills but is not drinking. Her Dr has now given her 10mg Oxycodone IR and she tells me that she is taking that to get off of the Morphine. This past week she has had severe mood swings, has had a headache every day this week, and has told me she has not had a pill in two days. I need help understanding what is happening here. Cleaning out an old cabinet from a relative and found some pills from the days where it seems labeling wasn't a big thing so maybe some of you might know. First, an orange and brown capsule simply labeled "BMP 140" on each side of the capsule. Second, a red-coated tablet which either has 60, or GD (I'm not sure) with agb underneath it. Blank on the other side. I searched and 60 abg is what came up (says its morphine but the letters don't match). The next is the same type of logo (gd, 60?) with add right under it. It's grey coated as well. I have still never found out what my pink capsules labeled "pfizer 50" were, even after calling pfizer. I'm open to any clues you might offer.

I am switching from suboxone 8mg/2ng strips 2 times daily. I gate the sub. I am switching to methadone tomorrow. I have not taken sub since last night at approx. 8:00 p m. How much morphine will i need to keep from being sick until tomorrow. I start methadone tomorrow. I am 60 yrs young. ## You would be fine overnight. Adding morphine and then starting methadone could put you into an overdose. Please be safe. Talk to your doctor. Don't just ever play around with medicine.

Told it was morphine 15 mg ## Hello, Dan! How are you? I can't find a pill with these markings. However, I'm not sure that I'm properly understanding your description. Do you mean that the tablet has a T6 and a ps on it? Are they on opposite sides or the same side? Are there any other markings? What is the shape and color? ## Ok i have this same pill it is round and white with a PS on one side and other side has a slit going across the middle with T6 on top line so yes the ps is on front and t6 is on back do u have any idea what it is ?? ## I have the same pill. I found a vial of thick dirty yellow liquid. Can u tell me what this is? ## A thick dirty yellow liquid could be virtually anything right? Is there any reason to believe that Morphine is within the realm of high possibilities? Drug manufacturers / compounding pharmacies can alter the way liquid medications may appear, how they taste, their viscosity, etc. So all I'm getting at is there's no guaranteed way to tell just by taste and looks alone, as it's always subject to change. Even if you know someone who takes liquid Morphine (or pain meds in general) within the proximity of where you found it, I would probably encourage you to have its contents analyzed by a lab to be 100% sure. A liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) diagnostic should do the trick. ## Run ...
