Of those mentioned, my research tells me that Lidocaine can cause false positives, because it is distantly related to Cocaine. (but I haven't found information on the other drugs listed). On the cheaper, non-certified drug tests, false positives are known to occur anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. There are actually quite a few discussion threads on this topic floating around the internet. I hope the information above helps! ## There are new epidurals that are morphine based. I had one on 3/26 when i had a csection. So yes, there are morphine based epidurals. I als...
I just want to know if they make a 13 MG morphine ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? No, the closest doses would be either 10 or 15mgs. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
So I got liquid Morphine that expired November 2014. Is it still any good? ## Hello, Mike! How are you? No, you should just dispose of it. Liquid medications degrade much faster than other forms, so not only will it no longer be effective, but it may also have gone bad and could make you ill if you take it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I took half of a morphine abg 60. This has caused erectile disfunction. How long will this last? ## Hello, Pablo! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. Such a side effect may linger for several days. It is very dangerous to cut these tablets, since they are time released, it could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once, which may result in overdose. You should take it exactly as prescribed. When I got my galbladder out they kept giving me morphine. I was so sick from it. The pain was still there. Let me know if there is something better than opiates. ## Hello, Robin! How are you? The FDA warns that they may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and c...
I've been on OxyContin for ten years. My insurance company decided I had to go on morphine sulphate er. I have a bad headache. Can I take fioricet? ## Hello, Joy! How are you? I just went to a new pain dr. For 8 years I was on OxyContin 30mg. My insurance wouldn't pay so I was switched to 30 mg ms continue er. This worked fine. All with 5/325 Hydrocodone up to 4 daily for breakthrough. Within the last four months the old Doctor switched to 30mg IRR without telling me why the change. I think just mixed up. Actually it worked basically the same with the breakthrough meds. Now new doc changed to MS Contin er generic with same amount of breakthrough melds. I haven't started yet but am worried it won't work as well. Help ## Since it is a lower dose, it may not manage your pain as well and you may also experience some withdrawal symptoms. As listed by the FDA, withdrawal symptoms may possibly include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills and diarrhea. Is the...

Hi, everyone. My daughter and I have just moved to a small town where I know nobody. We are near Flint and Fenton. I have prescriptions for Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Depression, Anxiety, Migraines, and chronic Pancreatitis. Basically, I'm on a lot of stuff...Morphine, Dilauded (sp?), Norco, Trazadone, Attivan, Cymbalta, and Lasix. I realize that I've probably been on too many things and I may need to switch back to Methadone (I took that a few years back) as a replacement for a few things but, I'm very worried about what will happen if I run out of everything all at once as, I know I have become dependent. I have about two weeks worth left and then I'm kind of screwed. I need to find a Dr. that can come up with a suitable pain management "recipe" and wh...

My mother suffers from osteoporosis, arthritis and fluid in the legs. She is now housebound but her legs have been red and sore for about two years. We have just been told she has celluitis and she is on all kinds of drugs for her other conditions including morphine. They have recently gave her antibiotics but she's had reactions with them. However, every time doctors have been out to see her and the acute care team, they have always commented on her legs. But they haven't done anything about it. Now I have read this can be fatal if left untreated. She has just been admitted into hospital because of how she was feeling. What can I do about this when one doctor is saying she can't get infection in her legs and the other one is saying different ## Hello, Paul! How are you? Wha...

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
