well my urine came up positive for morphine/codeine and I know dang well I didn't take neither. Im allergic to codeine at that.What else could cause this to give a false positive? ## Was in prison for years. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my neck, severe end stage arthritis in my right elbow and chronic ulner nerve pain in my right hand, I am on 240 mg of morphine and 2700mg of gabapentin a day, my problem is the sleepiness It causes me, I can hardly function on these meds which also cause me to sweat profusely causing me to change my clothes 2 or more times a day, what can I do to reduce the drowsiness? ## Hello, Del! My boyfriend is perscribed morphine sulfate extended release, and he is currently getting thees oblong ones (e655/60). In the bottle he found one that was just a 1/2. They are skinny and kinda soft so easily broken on accident. In the past he has gotten the wax-coated ones, and said the ER part is in the coating. In these, however, there is no coating. In a broken one- is the ER part also messed up, or is the ER mixed into the whole pill? Wanting to know if taking 1/2 of these is simply 30mg ER instead of 60mg ER. ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? How long will it take a 30mg morphine to get out of my system and can it be detected on a saliva drug test ## Everyone has a different metabolism rate, many posts say 2-3 days, well not for me, I've failed many of times. Once 7 days after consuming 30mg morphine sulfate pill, and 9 days, 60mg morphine sulfate pill, and both times I drank plenty of water, exercised etc. So be careful, if it's not prescribed to you, you take that chance.

Drs. willing to prescribe Morphine & Oxycodone for severe Spinal Stenosis , rehabbed Shoulder , pinched nerves in neck causing severe pain & numbness in one arm My Other shoulder needs reverse shoulder replacement which cant be done until other health problems can be addressed. I have never gotten the euphoria or lethargy that others claim. Can I overdose on 1 30mg ER morphine tablet? i weigh 173 lbs if that atters. i have nver taken anything stronger then a hydro 10 and kinda scared to take this medicine. ## I'm not personally aware of the difference in potency from Hydrocodone to Morphine, but I wouldn't suggest taking anything that puts a scare in you like that. If it's too strong it's too strong and your best bet would be to start off with a smaller dose (cut in half perhaps to assess your tolerance). To answer your question though, I don't believe you can overdose on 1 tablet, but you may or may not experience some very undesirable side effects if your body is not used to it. I use Oxy -neo for my back. It works well but I fear my body may have gotten used to it. I am taking 20 mg 6 times a day in individual doses. I have tried morphine but it makes me sick as well as numerous other drugs all with severe side effects. Is there anything I can take in between my doses of OXY or maybe a different drug all together. Even with the OXY I still cannot go on with a normal day. Surgery is not an option due to my problem. I need a mail order or online source for Morphine Sulfate 200 ER and 8mg Dilaudid.
