How many 15 mg of Morphine Sulfate equal 4 of the 10 mg Hydrocodone?? ## Morphine and Hydrocodone are generally considered equal in strength, when taken orally, so a 10mg Morphine tablet would be equal to 10mgs of Hydrocodone, this your 15mg Morphine is actually a stronger dose than what you were taking of the Hydrocodone. 3 of the Morphine 15mg tablets would be 45mgs and that would actually still be 5mgs stronger than the 40mgs in 4 of the Hydrocodone tablets. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hydrocone is a short acting pain medication. I recently was switched from 15mg IR to 7.5m gIR, I also take one 15mg CR every 12 hours. I neglegted to ask how much of a difference the 7. would be as opposed to the 15mg IR. I have fibromyalgia, costrocondritus, neck and back anomlies, fractured S1/T2 and the sacrum is cracked. The discs in between; one bulging, one flat and leaking into the siatic nerve. I also have panic disorder (take 5mg Diazepam 3x per bid). Robaxin, 150mg 4x daily, Zoloft 50mg per day. Ompemrazole/ranitidine 1, 2x per day. The results of a blood test were 100 nanograms per millilliter of morphine.I took a 100mg ms cotin pill about 4 0r 5 hours before the test.Does this seem normal? ## Hi Scott, Although I'm not too familiar with terminology associated with blood test results, I did find that Morphine can be detected in your blood for up to 12 hours after your last dose. If this timing has any correlation with the figures you mentioned above, then it does make sense that this would be a normal reading 5 hours into your dose. Can morphine make you test false positive on a 10 panel drug test? I'm in a women's recovery graduate housing program and in the last two weeks I have been in and out of the hospital. They gave me morphine, tordal, and dilaudid!!! They pulled a mouth swab on me this last Thursday and I tested positive for most of everything on there.... I'm trying to find out what all three will/can make you test positive?

I have high blood pressure and I am taking loprin 75. Is it right? Note: I used to be a drug addict - i.e. morphine (opiates). ## Did your doctor tell you to take this? From what I can find, it is listed as containing Aspirin, which is used for blood thinning and heart health, but will not help lower blood pressure. I've been on this pill for 2 days and it makes me very tired and dizzy. Is that natural? ## Yes, the FDA does list that as being normal side effects. You may also experience nausea, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? Are you used to taking Morphine?

How long does it take to start working? ## From my own experiences with morphine it takes any where from 30 to 60 minutes for the drug to take effect.Make sure that you take the pill whole.Don't crush the pill because this will alter the time release of the drug.Drink plenty of water with the pill as so it will kick in faster. ## The regular or time released tablets take between 20 to 30 minutes to start working, however, there is also an instant release on the market that starts working very fast. I took 6 pills. and detoxed with 2 16oz bottles of flush plus water all day yesterday. drank water this morning. Was still scared so had some urinate for me. I have a spinal stimulator that was put in place on 8/19/16. It's the worst thing ever! I'm on 30mg extended release morphine TID and 15mg ir morphine for break through, but nothing is working!!! I was on norco 10-325 TID for years but it began not to work like I built up a tolerance. Any suggestions? My doctor is conservative but I have no life in constant pain. The Dr. is switching me to the morphine 15mg and oxycodone 5mg for breakthrough pain. Is this stronger than the Norco 10/325? ## Is the Morphine regular release, or time released? I have a round orange pill that is marked 60 on 1 side and N on the other. Could somone please tell me if this is a Morphine pill? I tested positive for morphine twice now at 2 diff. pain clinics but I only take norco (hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325) and oxycodone 5 mg hcl. What would cause this as I'm allergic to morphine? ## This same thing happened to me today at my doctor's office and I am SO upset. My scrip is for ONE 5/325 mg Oxycodone once daily. I am a hospice nurse. We administer clear liquid morphine to our patients and teach the family how to administer it. Many are having trouble seeing how much they are pulling up in the syringe. Is is appropriate to add a very tiny minuscule amount of blue food coloring so that the patients can see the liquid and be safe? Please help. Thanks ## Hello, Pamela! How are you? I take 3 30 mg. Of ms contin per day for the past 2 days I took 2 extra pills each day, I have to take a saliva test that goes to the lab. To check my levels will they be able to detect that I took extra? Pls. Answer ty ## I just hot results of a saliva swab done and it came back negative. To be honest, it is doubtful that the Zohydro will help you, if Vicodin didn't. Zohydro is just Hydrocodone without the Acetaminophen. I've been in chronic pain and without a Dr. To treat it with a proper amount to cover it at all. I don't mind traveling but I can't afford to pay for thevisit. I'm on medicare and partnership.
