yellow and white capsule w/ 505 & 30 mg imprinted on it ## I just got small yellow round tabs of morphine. I was taking three 10mg oxycodones everyday. Now I want to take two tabs of morphine everyday but don't know the milligram. What do you think it could be? ## To the original poster, does it also have the word Avinza on it? If so, it contains 30mgs of Morphine, which is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Hello~ I’ve been taking 5/325% for severe back pain due to an injury since 2012. I had surgery in 2014. I’m still experiencing severe pain and have been taking the Percocet since. Recently my doctor has prescribed MS Contin 15 mg. Although it did take the pain down a few notches, I became very dizzy and it felt like the world is spinning around me. I actually stumbled a few times which I felt was putting me at more risk. Then came the nausea and the feeling sick part. My question is, what are peoples experience as far as does the dizziness and nausea feeling go away after you’ve been taking it for a few days or longer? I have a small, round, grey pill with PF on one side and 100 on the other. Could this be generic Morphine? ## This is a small round light blue pill that has PF on one side, and100 is on the other side ! green pill with the number 30 on one side ## This is not morphine sulfate. ( It would have other numbers on it if it were. ) I think it is oxycodone, 15mg (Percocet 15mg. equivalent to 3 regular 5mg tablets). Are the small round tablets a MINT green? If so then they are definantly the schedule 2 narcotic oxycodone, immediate release. If they are a deep green with other numbers on them please let me know. They would be morphine. Can a drug test tell the difference between morphine and morphine sulfate? ## They are the exact same thing, Morphine sulfate is just the full name for it and the sulfate designates the exact chemical salt that it is derived from, so no, they would both be detected exactly the same. I've been taking 45 mill morphine every 6 Hrs for my CRPS about 3 months now. A week ago I started getting sick and severely dizzy to the point of passing out. Just moving my eyes back and forth make me dizzy. Why is this happening? My blood pressure is fine. I have been using ER 60 mg morphine sulfate x 2 daily with other meds. No one has this medicine in Tampa area and being legally blind I have no way to go to 50 pharmacies to locate because they won't tell you on the phone. I took 45mg for 5 days in a row. I am a smoker, inactive and slightly overwieght but not fat. Will 4 days be enough for it to leave my system? I took about about 50ccs of morphine sulfate at 2am on Monday morning and I haven't dosed in awhile, and I have a drug test this Thursday at 2pm. Will it be out of my urine by then? If anyone can answer this for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I know morphine usually is detectable in your urine up to 3 days, but I only took 2 doses of morphine so it's not that much, but I don't want to fail my test. I also have a high metabolism and I constantly pee. Failed first oral swab test in 3 years. I am a 61 year old disabled man. My Dr. assistant lowered my medication from 2 morphine sulfate 15 mg daily & 3 roxicodones 30 mg also daily. Have now been cut to only the 2 morphine sulfates 15mg er. With this large drop off the doctor said I wouldn't feel withdrawal but after about 6 to 7 hours I do. They only gave me 14 pills for 7 days. For my body chemistry I would have needed 3 of them a day to make it. They are now currently waiting for a note from a psychiatrist specialist in addiction. So for each 30mg Oxycodone, you'd need 45mgs of Morphine. However because everyone reacts to these medications differently, it's almost like comparing apples and bananas here. I have been taking 2 each Morphine Sulfate 30 mg ER Tabs and 4 each Morphine Sulfate IMM REL 15 MG Tabs each day for about 3 weeks. I will run out a week before going back to my PM Doctor. How much morphine does it take to show up in a hair follicle test, and how long would it take a very small amount to leave the body (i.e. not show up in a hair follicle test)? If somebody swallowed a very small amount, I think it was just a few ml, what are the chances of it showing up in a follicle test? ## I took one 30 mg extended release morphine tablet and have a hair follicle test in 45 days. My mother has spinal stenosis which cases her great pain. She uses B transpatches 50. which provides no relief. What could be used as an alternative? She is 84. ## I have cervical spinal stenosis. I have used fentanyl patches and lollipops in the past to control my pain. It is very strong but can be given in very small doses and due to her age I doubt a pain specialist would give her any grief over it. Dilaudid also works well for me but I am a poor metaboliser so not many opiatess work for me.
