I just receive a prescription for Morphine Sulfate Imm Rel 15mg, on the tab there are some numbers, 54 733 they are also round and white, can u explain it to me please, this is my first time using this pain pills.

These tablets are manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list them as containing 15mgs of Morphine in a regular release formulation. There is no immediate release formulation available.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I'm taking 15mg morphine sulfate IR mfg. by roxane. My throat is swelling and I have chest pain. Do they put tramadol in this? I'm allergic to it.

UPDATE: I still take morphine 15mg immediate release pills (54 733) for RA pain 4 times a day. Some scripts do the job and takes me out of pain but some scrips make my bone pain worse and acts like tramadol which I'm allergic to. Does anyone else have this problem?
