my uncle is taking monotrate 20mg,three times a day.I would like to know the actions,side effects and complications of this drug

This contains the active ingredient Isosorbide Mononitrate, it is most commonly used to treat Angina, it works by dilating the blood vessels, this lowering blood pressure to improve heart function.

Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and hypotension.
