Mixing Xanax With Suboxone

What would be the side effects or interactions of taking both Suboxone and Xanax?

Since the Suboxone contains the opiate Burphenorphine and the Xanax contains the Benzodiazepine Alprazolam, they can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which can result in lowered blood pressure, lowered heart rate and shallow breathing. In extreme cases, such as when someone has taken too much, these conditions may be fatal.

This isn't to say that they can't ever be used together, but you should be under a doctor's supervision and the dosages have to be very carefully considered, as well as your reaction to the medications.

Yea what about suboxone and Lisdexamfetamine? Does suboxone intensify it or make Lisdexamfetamine weaker?

I'd like to know if you can be prescribed xanax while on suboxone? The suboxone makes my anxiety waaaaay worse than it was even before I took in my 2 and 12 year old grandchildren to raise them with absolutely no help from their parents; but my doctor won't prescribe them even though I was on them for a very very very long time together. What's up with this now? I got them before and now that I reeeaaallly need them my dr won't prescribe them for me. I have been told to find a pain center and get into it!!!!

My blood pressure is running higher since I've gained ALL this weight (like 174 over 104) and I can tell it goes up every day!
