Mintran As An Alternative To A Prescription Medication
UpdatedDoes anyone have any information about Mintran as a treatment for Fibromyalgia? My primary care physician prescribed Lyrica but I didn't like the way it made me feel, especially with having to work. I went to my chiropractor today and he recommended the Mintran. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Hello, Shelby! How are you?
Min-Tran is just a supplement product that is claimed to support a healthy nervous systems and to help maintain emotional balance. It's listed as containing Calcium, Iodine and Magnesium. Thus, there's really no harm in trying it, if your doctor approves, but there's no guarantee that it will help with anything.
Due to the magnesium in it, the FDA warns that it may cause diarrhea in some people that take it.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Hello. No I was just looking for an alternative to prescription medication as I didn't like the way the Lyrica made me feel and couldn't take it. I'm already on several medications for blood pressure, high cholesterol, restless leg syndrome, anxiety and a few more. Coming to find out that a lot of these for all these years were symptoms of fibromyalgia, it just took a change in doctors and a chiropractor to pull it all together. Thanks for your response to my question.
