I have taken Fiorinal tablets for several years as it is the only medication that works for my headaches. I take 1/2 pill at a time, so taking a capsule will not work. I've been informed that Fiorinal tablets are not being made any longer and you can only get Fioricet capsules. Won't work for me. I've also been informed that the explanation for the discontinuance of Fiorinal is a manufacturing plant investigation. Can anyone explain that more? Is the plant investigation for this drug or for something else? If something else, that doesn't explain why Fiorinal is discontinued. I have tried other medications which don't work and I truly would like to find a way to get Fiorinal again. ## Hello, Peanut! How are you? That is correct, at this time, the tablets are no longer...

Hi. I'm just concerned as to whether memo plus gold may trigger migraines, as I take 4-5 capsules a day. My migraine on the left side of my head seems to occur almost everyday. ## Memo Plus Gold is a natural supplement, not a prescription medication, so it hasn't been evaluated for side effects and is not actually proven to help with anything. That said, it may indeed be triggering your headaches, you could be sensitive to an ingredient in it and you are taking way more than they recommend, which is one capsule twice daily for the first month, then one capsule daily thereafter. There is always the possibility of getting too much of a good thing. Why are you taking so many? ## I was told by one doctor to take memo plus gold (2 capsules) 3 times a day as I have epilepsy. He said t...

what would you say about red monkeys? have any of you tried them? i took one red monkey and one yellow one and was throwing up while i was peaking. not fun. now im about to just take 2 red monkeys. any experiences or advice? ## From the testing reports online, the MDMA in these is testing at very high levels. This is a very dangerous drug to use and you clearly have a problem if you are taking several at once. Have you considered getting help? ## There's nothing wrong with this person and she doesn't need any help. It's people like you that piss me off. It's obvious that you don't know about recreationally using drugs. This person's waiting on a comment from someone who DOES extacy, not someone who thinks that drugs are bad and evil. ## dont drop 2 monkeys at the...

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I get headache n neck pain during periods or sometimes middle of the month. Doctor prescribed naxdom 250. Is it a pain killer, safe to have? ## Can i give naxdom 250 to a 13 years old for migrane?

Are these for headache treatment? I need to know if I could take it if I'm already taking two Norco 10/325mg tablets? ## No, Norco contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so you shouldn't add more Acetaminophen, without your doctor's approval, as taking too much can create a risk of liver damage, or liver failure. Has the Allzital been prescribed for you? It would be best to stick with the medication your doctor has instructed you to take. Are you on any other medications?

Anjovy kills my migranes almost for. Month. As expected, thr insurance won’t cover it. It’s about 900 bucks.i went on line and found Anjovi will give you some sort of financial release. I walked the paperwork over to my MDs office to speed up delivery. I called my doctors office Friday, and yesterday . The recorded message said they would get back to all people within 24 hours.i called Anjovy and they were nice to take my name down, Does anybody have anything else I can do? I’m desperate since Diclofinic is gone. ## Did you try this one, from the Ajovy website that you take to your pharmacy? It is not helpful if you have a government funded insurance, such as Medicare, or Medicaid. Its most common side effects consist of injection site reactions, such as swelling, and ...

I get 2 strips of Buprenorphine/Naloxone daily. 8mg. Been on about 2 yrs. Anyone else get a rash from these? What is in these that would cause this? Was on pain management for years but that became a nightmare and way too much work with all new laws. I was on for 30 plus yrs. Subs are much easier to get a monthly script for. What's up with the 2 yr rash? I drink 8 or 9 waters a day. I'm not dehydrated. Not a sub fan at all but they do the job. Anyone else get a constant rash from the strips? Don't bother saying I could stop them. Had 6 yrs sober, plus the subs keep me out of prison. I tried every lotion cream available. I have to grease my hands every night and wear gloves to bed as my hands cracked so bad. So, back to the rash. Any info please? Thanx. ## What kind of rash a...

Pls tell me what company makes this generic fioricet with LCI 1695 and light blue in color. Is it Lannett Co.? Are they a good generic company? Watson white tabs do NOT work for me. Is this blue pill good for HA? ## Hi Doggielover, Just to confirm, the manufacturer of that generic Fiorcet is Lannett Company, Inc.. This medication is commonly used in the treatment of headache, but is also regarded as an analgesic combination. As to the company's reputation on generics, I honestly haven't heard much about them. But I believe this is really something that can turn out to be very different for each individual going through their own personal experience with the medication. So you may just to have give it a trial run and see how it works out for you. You can learn more about this dru...

I'd get a second opinion or maybe a third too before switching manufacturers of Fioricet. Suicide is huge with these drugs and there is no way to figure out who is going to be affected. It also changes the brain. It could potentially cause them lifelong difficulty. No one will tell you the awful adverse effects of coming off them. I would check for a vitamin and mineral deficiency, gut bacterial imbalance, possible brain injury and most importantly look at the environment and the people around you. Please exhaust all other possible causes before starting this drug meant for adult brains. It could be an infection like strep or inflammation from an immune system that won't shut down. You need to know big pharma is pushing doctors to prescribe off-label for the sole purpose of incr...

I used to have a really bad headache that lasted the whole day. Sometimes it hurt so much that I started beating my head, but when i concentrate on a specific thing I'll feel relaxed. I have Mavidol TR ampoules that my doctor I saw in Mexico gave me for migraine. He showed me how to inj. but I lost the paper that told me how much to use. These are 10 mg - 25 mg/ml. What would the dosage be for an adult 200lbs? Thank you! ## Mavidol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. There is more information on this medication on MedlinePlus. The dosage, however, can vary and should be decided by a doctor. It can also be contraindicated with some other medications, and medical conditions. Have you tried consulting your regular doctor? Are you on any other medications?

I found large round white pills with Raam on one side and scored on the other side. Please help me identify this pill. I know it came from Mexico. Found it in my daughter's suitcase. ## These are Sumatrapitan, used to treat migraines. I purchased a bottle of them in Mexico as well. Work great. ## Just got back from Ensenada on a cruise. I purchased what said on the box 2mg alprazolam. They are round and white pills that say RAAM on one side and nothing on the back. No slit to cut in half or in fourths. I’m used to taking .5mg-1mg for anxiety so I just took a piece when I felt a panic attack coming along. Definitely calmed me down and I eventually went to sleep. However, I tried searching for these online to make sure they were Xanax and haven’t found one thread or pictur...

Here's some definitive info from Actavis who bought out Watson. fioricet.com Briefly: New formulation is out because of FDA requirements (reduces Tylenol from 325 to 300). No change to Butalbital or caffeine mg's Tablets are discontinued. Only capsules are available. The formulation without Codeine is NOT a schedule III drug (Actavis received an FDA exemption) If your doc writes for tabs you may want to discuss having him alter the scrip so that it doesn't get bounced. The good news is that it looks like the Brand Name will still be available. I had GREAT luck with West Ward for over 30 years. The white tabs by Qualitest suck so I'm going to pay the extra and go for the Brand to see how well it works. Good luck everyone. ## Has anyone ever heard of the mfg, of butalbital...

What markings does the Fioricet/Butalbital have on the white tablet and who is the manufacturer? I can not take the blue tablet form as something in it makes me ill. Thank you. ## Fioricet contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine, it is most commonly used to treat migraines. These are several white tablets on the market, since it is available as a generic and I can pinpoint any specifically, since you didn't list your dosage. I also don't have a list of manufacturers for all of them, however, here are some markings on the white tablets, so you can see if you recognize any: White, round, 2355 V (Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, MIA 110 White, oval, 2357 V (VIntage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, 3416 WPI White, oblong M (in a s...

I so do not get why u can buy Fioricet WITHOUT seeing a Dr. My best friend committed suicide last year. He had OVER 800 Fioricet pills on him when he died!!! To me this is UNACCEPTABLE. He should've never been able to buy this many pills without seeing a Dr. What can I do to propose stiffer laws so this won't happen again to anyone? ## What can I do to make sure this doesn't happen to anymore people??? ## In the U.S. this medication does require a prescription, it is not available over the counter. It contains a combination of Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, stomach irritation, and insomnia. I have BUT/ACETAMINOPHEN/CAFF 50-300-40 CP. What do the last two letters "CP" mean? Does it mean capsules? ## Hello Grace, Typically the abbreviation CP in the medical field refers to cerebral palsy but in reference to a pill itself it's fairly safe to assume that it could stand for capsule. Each company and pharmacy have their own way of labeling things so if it's truly of great concern to you simply ask your pharmacy or the manufacturer who labeled the bottle. ## The ingredients listed in your abbreviation correspond with: Butalbital 50 mg / Acetaminophen 300 mg / Caffeine 40 mg I am inclined to agree with everyone on here that the "CP" could likely stand for Capsule ... However, there is a variation of this med that also contains Codeine Phosphate 30 mg in add...

After our 20th meeting with a different neurologist yesterday we came away with absolutely no treatment. The only thing that helps my son with his migraine is butalbital with codeine. The neurologist is no longer prescribing this and suggests that he take some aspirin. Last week he had the worst migraine he had ever had in his life and had fallen several times, was slurring his words and could not speak. I found him on the floor on the back porch where he had been for about 2 hours. The doctor sent him to get Act. Nothing showed such as a bleed or an aneurysm. I don't know where else to turn for him. The neurologist yesterday said to go to Johns Hopkins or the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. At that time he asked us to leave at 9. To return or not to return. He said he was not t...
