Metanx is actually a nutritional supplement and, it can help some people, if their pain is caused or aggravated by a deficiency in the vital nutrients it contains. However, there is no guarantee that it will help you.

Neurontin is an actual medication, it contains the anticonvulsant Gabapentin, which has been proven to help with certain types of nerve pain.

How has it been working for you?
