I am taking Rumoquin NF every 2 days. I had hip pain and lower back pain from a double level fusion done in 1982. Almost all my pain has gone. This medication is amazing. However, I am concerned about the long term side effects of using steroids. What would you recommend for someone in my situation? I would like to know what the price of this item is Rumoquin NF? ## Based on my research, Rumoquin NF contains the active ingredients: (100 mg) of Phenylbutazone (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory) + (200 mg) of Methocarbamol (a muscle relaxant) + (0.75 mg) of Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid); This medication is used to treat pain and swelling. The pill is round one side is pink with white botches & with the letter Z and with a line right underneath Z, and the numbers 2813 underneath that line AND the other side of the pill is the color white and has NO marks at all ## Hello, Sophia! white/oblong/west-ward232 ## west ward 232 white oblong pill scored in the middle ## I believe the marking on the tablet in question was actually WEST-WARD 292 and it contains 750mgs of Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. is methocarbamol 750mg or gapapentin 300 a anti-inflammatory or has aspirin in it ? ## Methocarbamol, aka Robaxin is a muscle relaxer and Gabapentin, aka Neurontin is an anticonvulsant used to treat nerve pain such as neuropathy. Hope this answers your question.

my sister I staking rumoquin fn and shes wondering if its normal that she hasn't got her period, shes certenly not pregnant because shes tested her self for that alredy and all negative. ## From what I could gather, Rumoquin contains Methocarbamol (a msucle relaxant), Dexamethasone (a corticosteroid) and Diclofenac (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory). After taking a look at the side effects for each ingredient, I get the feeling Dexamethasone is the culprit here. It lists "irregular or absent menstrual periods" under general side effects. Beserol was prescribed for me recently due to my spinal condition which showed via (x-rays) that the last four vertebrates were almost lying on each other. No separation between. Plenty pain. The Beserol prescribed: Reformulated methocarbamol 500mg, acetaminophen 350mg (white, oval-shaped tablets, 10 to a card). I am also placed on ibuprofen...Mydocalm, Omeprazole. The question: Is is OK to take Beserol in the breach, when the pain is on? ## The first problem I see here is that you really shouldn't be taking the Acetaminophen in the Beserol, with the Ibuprofen. They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, so there is really no need for 2 of them. I have 2 bulging discs in my lower back... will this medication actually help with the pain ## Hi Kristen, Because everyone reacts and responds to these types of medications differently, I can't say that it "will" work, as I don't know your medical history, the severity of your pain, and other personal factors that your doctor should have taken into consideration before prescribing it to you. Methocarbamol is used to relieve the discomfort caused by acute (short-term), painful muscle or bone conditions. So in that sense I would think that it should offer at least some noticeable relief. Is this your first time taking pain medication?
