i have been on methadone for 3 years and Kadian for 1 year. I was doing good and had all my carries. 4 months ago I had knee surgery and since then have been coming back positive for using hydromorphone. They say it isn't the Kadian because it is morphine sulfate. Non narcotic meds I take are: zopiclone, cymbalta. olanzapine nightly. Help. im in a real pickle. I urinated in cups with methadone in my system and left the cups out at room temperature for two days(my room stays pretty cold) and then put it into plastic bottles and froze the urine to test positive for methadone in my system. im afraid that the urine wont bc of everything ive been reading. I may have a test this Thursday the 13th and heard u defrost it and some say to microwave it and stick it in an orphis to ur body to keep it body temp. will this work?

I had some of my regular meds (opana) stolen & had to take 20mg methadone (tabs) tonight in order to stretch my supply :( I am an older woman, heavy, don't get much exercise (chronic pain) I have a drug test on the 14th, will it be out of my system by then? Was with a pain center in South Carolina for three years, but they through me out because I was taking a cough medicine given to me by my regular doctor. They said it was in my urine and they did not prescribe it. They put me on Methadone 10 mg four times a day, Oxycodone 7.5 mg three times a day, and a lot of other drugs for the last three years. I was in a car accident ten years ago, and was pretty messed up from it. What can I do about the pain center? I have been on 50 mg of methadone tid for a 3 months after 2 years years on 40mgs tid. I am also on 2-3 30 mg oxycodone for breakthrough and 100mg ms contin bid. I have reached this stage due to tolerance after 8 years of use for 9+ pain due L3, L4, and 3 cervical herniations, and spinal stenosis. I am also on 1mg of clorazepam tid. I had to be incarcerated on an old probation violation. I have been prescribed 8, 10 mg methadone daily for a little over 7 years, and Oxycodone 30mg 6x daily for the same period. For TWENTY ONE DAYS, I had uncontrollable muscle spasms, and more than a few full blown seizures. Cramps. Diarrhea. Essentially,21 days of the worst Hell on Earth imaginable. How can I get off of Methadone without going through this Hell? I seriously would eat a bullet before going through this Hell again.

I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, a regular doctor cannot prescribe it for you for addiction treatment/maintenance, that can only be done in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use. As to a clinic that would take your insurance, since I don't know where you are, or what insurance you have, I can't help search for one. Have you tried calling others in your area to ask if they accept it?

I have been taking 60 mg of methadone a day for about 3 months. i weigh 230 and am 6 feet tall. i have a urine test coming up in 5 days, which i am positive they test for methadone. is there any way i am going to pass this and can you give me ANY tips on what to do to get this out of my system by then to pass. thank you ## If its a simple u/a you should pass after being clean for the 5 days.
