Looking for a pain management dr that is willing to prescribe medications for degenerative disc disease. Within 100-150 miles of Ocean City MD. ## I am looking for a minnesota pain physician that will agree to listen to what works for my pain and doesn't make me feel like i am being judged and questioned about my pain. i need a dr willing to prescribe methadone at a low dose to control addictive issues and long term pain, and oxycodone 15 mg 6-8 a day together, without making me get off the methadone liquid that i am taking. i plan to go back to a good pain dr and hopefully explain that after certain amount of methadone is administered other pain meds wont work for my pain unless at higher than normal doses of oxycodone, with low dose methadone and added oxycodone quick release for ...

HelloI am going to a methadone maintance. Clinic but I am no to pay the monthly fee I am in need of a doc to help me that will accept my insurance it is wah I would ## Hello, Dedrie! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current law, a clinic is your only option. A private practice doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for addiction or maintenance treatment. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My husband lost his pain doctor. He is in such severe foot pain due to a spinal injury he can barely walk any more. Methadone was the only medication he could function on and not be almost bedfast. He has been on other meds that do not help. The doctor who performed his last surgery can not pinpoint where the pain is coming from and will not operate. We are desperate.

Will methadone clinic prescribe methadone while taking Adderall ## I'm wondering the same thing, I'm considering going to a methadone clinic and I have been prescribed adderal for years for my ADHD. ## It seems that it would depend on the sole discretion of the doctor who prescribes the methadone, as to my understanding, every physician sets different standards based on their own developed moral instincts, ethics and legal boundaries. However, to assume that it is illegal to prescribe these two meds together would be total nonsense in my opinion, which leads me to believe that they do have the ability to prescribe whatever it is they want to prescribe within reason. Whether or not they act on their ability to do so is another story.

the pill is the same size as a methadone 10 mg with a line in the middle on one side, and it has asc then 116 ## This imprint actually IS identified as a 10mg Methadone Hydrochloride tablet, so your thoughts were right on target! Methadone is a synthetic opioid, used medically as an analgesic and a maintenance anti-addictive for use in patients with opioid dependency. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... Did you have any other questions or concerns about this drug? Please post back if you do. ## For some reason the asc116 methadone are not working like the mbox 54122 whats that about?Isnt it supposed to work the same?

Went to see my PA today. I was raped in Oct 2000 and did well until 2008. I had been shoved against a tub nozzle and the 1st of the 3 ruptured. I went over 3 years like this because I found myself surrounded by people that told me I was a hypo. I finally got this fixed in 2009 and did very well for quite awhile. Then my second surgery came due April 1st of this year, with one more to go. Saving the worst for last. Over 2 weeks ago I was doing good and then like the flick of a switch I wasn't. My lower back is killing me, my hips and legs actually hurt worse than before the surgery. My Dr. is putting me on some new medication Lyrica 25 mg, but he said it would be awhile before I'd feel any relief. He needs Dr. Studts (Pain Mgmnt Dt.)'s ok before he can give me methadone to he...

Dont understand it if i go to clinic its $365 month, prescribed is $3.00 a month, have to try find pain clinic,im in one now,but only give short acting oxycodone i asked for a longterm pill, wont do it,i never heard such a crazy thing, asked for increase in mg,nope cant do it,wtf ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? Both Suboxone and Methadone require special training to be prescribed for drug addiction. For pain, however, technically any doctor can prescribe them. The issue, though, is that due to the new directives from the DEA, most will not prescribe them, since they both tend to be addictive. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...

It's not just methadone it's all narcotics. Florida won't fill any narcotic. Believe me we've tried. We next day air the script to our family in minneapolis, they go to our pharmacy for us, fill and ship back to us. It's a pain but it works. ## @Mpls, Wow, I think its pretty ridiculous what extent patients have to go through in order to be able to have their legal medication filled, as if it's some sort of secret substance that no one can speak of in the State of Florida. And even across the country in California, my dad was just telling me the other night how he had to drive to several different cities in Southern California (which is very spread out) just to get a weak 5/325mg Norco script filled, because everyone was "allegedly" out of stock. With the ...

I ran out of one of my meds, so a week ago I took addarall and methodone, I have to go for a blood test next week, they didn't find either one in my urine test they did today. I took both of them for a week. Is it going to show up in a blood test? ## Blood tests detect adderal for 1-4 days. Methadone is detectable in blood until around 7-10 days. They are found in saliva a few days less and in piss a few days more. Methadone hangs around a while, even if very little is taken. Be carefull. Adderal, like most amphetamines, is out fairly quick. ## I went to my Dr who prescbies me 10 my lortabs and.05 xanax and was pissed tested and he said u have both ur rx in ur system but when I called to get them refilled they said no Etti the of them are in my system. I take these both everyday and...

My husband and I go to a methadone clinic. My husband tested positive for oxycodone but did not take oxycodone. The only other thing that he took was naproxen. Is there anyway that naproxen could've caused a false positive? I know it can for THC, but I was not sure about oxycodone?

I just got off methadone and am having terrible PAWS...no motivation, isolating, don't want to get dressed and go anywhere, etc. This is NOT my first go around with it as I suffered with PAWS in the past when I got off suboxone a few years back. I also deal with depression and am on 3 different medications. I know my body is out of whack and have to accept that it will take time but any suggestions or support would be greatly appreciated! And any vitamin or supplement info. would really be helpful! ## How long have you Been off? You did it once, you can do again. Yes PAWS is the worst. Pretty much cold Turkey almost year and half ago,and would love to tell you my life so much better, but I still suffer the loss motivation etc. I actually felt better in energy way 6 months too year. I have a prescription @ methadone, and suddenly after 3 years, can't find any pharms in north FL or south GA that will fill it...DEA's making it impossible for folks with legit pain issues to get relief. Anyone know of any small pharmacies? The big chains won't fill. Help.. ## The big chains would be the most likely pharmacy to fill it as they get the largest allotted amount. The smaller pharmacies don't get as many a month. I'm having the same issues right now. I started a dr 9 years ago with legitimate issues and had no problems til almost a year ago. Now the smaller pharmacies are saying they require 2 or more non narcotic prescriptions in order to fill. Not to mention u now have to fill scripts in the county of the doctor and heaven forbid u moved recently and ha...

I have been on Methadone 10mg - 2 tabs 4 x a day for 6 years and 300 mg's/day for 5 yrs before that from a methadone clinic. My Primary care Dr. (also my pain management Dr) recently decided that I needed to "taper down", Because I told her that the new pharmacy I went to gave me a hard time about the quantity. The reasons that I am on the meds in the 1st place are conditions that don't improve and I've never told her that I was feeling any better. I have a herniated C5, C6, L3, L4 S1, DDD, Fibromyalgia. So anyway she told me that "law says Methadone is 5 x stronger than Morphine and you're only allowed 100 mgs of Morphine so you're taking way too much already. I'll just take 1 pill away a day, you won't notice it." But I was already running o...

I switched from 50 mcg of fentanyl to 5mg of methadone 4× per day. ## Hello, Joelle! How are you? How is the Methadone working for you? The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Methadone is very potent and works very well for many people at alleviating pain.

I started taking methadone about 10yrs ago for pain. Started with 80mg a day and by the 2nd yr I was down to 40-50 mg a day. Over this past year I weaned myself off to nothing VERY slowly. It has been a month and I still can't sleep and feel like crap. Any replies would be appreciated. ## Methadone is notoriously hard to stop, it's very well known to cause severe withdrawals and cravings that can last a very long time. It may actually take a couple months, before you start to feel back to normal. That's why many people treated with it for drug addiction end up on a lifetime maintenance dose of it, rather then becoming completely drug free. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ...

dr in ky that will give me methadone one time a month for a 30 day sup. ## Hello, Eark! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current law for Methadone treatment, you have to receive it from a clinic and the maximum take home supply you can have is 2 weeks. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## True if the Rx is just for tx of opioid dependance. Methadone first & foremost is a pain drug & is widely prescribed for tx of chronic pain (given its cumulative effect due to its long half-life). ## am currently detoxing hardnoff suboxone due to the here to help program expiringbi cant afford the suboxone ive been on...

I lost my prescription and I normally take methadone and hydrocodone. The lady doctor I have wont get me tramadol. I have a month to go and the pain is excruciating. I was given some oxycodone and I'm to the point I can't stand the pain anymore. I'm just wondering if they can tell the difference on a drug test? I don't believe it's right what she's doing to me.

I need a methadone doctor in Evans, GA or Martinez GA. ## Hello, Brandi! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no 'methadone doctor' so to speak. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it for pain, however, if you're looking for it for addiction treatment, then a clinic is your only option. A private practice doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for that, it can only be given in a clinical setting by those that have been specially trained in its use. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone suggest a place in that area?
