I have been seeing a doc in Ft. Wayne, IN for a year and a half. His nurse called yesterday to say, He is no longer doing the narcotics side of business, one week before my monthly script is written. I have a crooked tail bone that sends pain down my leg. This drug has worked tremendously. i found a pill that is cut in half..on the front there is an m inside a square on the other side it looks like either a l44 or a 44 ## Hi carina, The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "M 57 71" rather than "M 44 or l44". This pill is also white and rectangular shaped with a score line and an M inside of a square. The pill I just described is identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. For verification, the manufacturer of this specific pill is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. If this does not match your pill, is there any possibility that the marking has simply been misread? I tried yesterday only 12 hours after taking vics but went into that ugly detox, but a handful of Vics took me rite back out of it. Thank god. I have been on methadone for chronic pain after back fusion in 2007. Been taking aderall for add for two years, also. Dr. called me at home last wk to come into office for med change.Told me that there are new findings out and no one should take these two at any time any more. I am a 59 ye daysar old male who is 100/disabled and have been on methadone for the past 20 plus years. Due to the new drug laws along with the retirement of my recent physician, it seems almost impossible to find a new doctor. I am on 60 milligrams of Methadone, I have been taking this for a year now. I am very eager to switch over to Suboxone asap. If i quit cold turkey How long until I'd be able to start Suboxone? My counselor says that I have to tapper off no more than 2 milligrams a week & have to get down to 30 milligrams before that'll start me on Suboxone. I lost my job & can't afford to wait around another 15 weeks to switch being Methadone is expensive, costing me $91 a week, luckily I only go once a week being I haven't failed a drug panel since my 1st evaluation. How do I loose the weight I have gained on methadone? I am 5'2" and almost 180lbs. I have NEVER weighed this much not even during my only time being pregnant. Okay, a lot of methadone prescribers will try to tell you all kinds of rubbish about methadone not rotting your teeth or causing weight gain, or they will try to tell you some crap about how it's caused by dry mouth. THEY ARE WRONG. Long term use of Methadone and other synthetic opioids with a long half-life causes a condition called Opiate Induced Endocrinopathy. I don't know why I did this!!!! I took 4 methadone tablets over the past 2 days and now I am freaking out that I will have withdrawals! I know better!!! Hi, I am an opiate addict. I have already tried the suboxone route and it was terrible to get off and terrible to be on. I would like to try methadone for awhile and not stand in line. I have been on methadone for 7 years now. Up until I started taking it I had perfect teeth, never even a cavity, and rarely went to the dentist. Now for the past 4 years my teeth have started breaking, getting cavities at the gum line, and severe tooth aches.
