Indiana just changed there laws and my doc says they are makeing them refer people like me to a clinc. I have took methadone for at least 5 years and prob. 10 years. On oxycodone-acetaminophen 10/325 4 times day. It was also combined with Fentanyl 100 every 72 hrs. I asked to be taken off Fentanyl as it's very expensive. My Dr prescribed then Methadone HCL 10 mg 2 tabs every 8 hrs. This combination doesn't work as well. I took two tests the same day, a mouth swab that was positive for opioids and methadone. I am on methadone and tramadol. Anyway I asked to do a urine test to show the opioids were not heroin, and the test showed no methadone but yes to heroin. How can it say no to methadone when it was positive in a mouth swab and how can i be positive for heroin when I only took tramadol and codeine? This is my first failed test in over six months and do not understand why they said different things. Any advice will be great as I am fighting to keep my baby and script for methadone.

i was geting methadone 10 mg at a clenic then got medacare couldnt go back to clenic now no doctor will give it to me also smoke pot reno nv ## It sounds to me like none of the doctors/clinics you're going to are accepting medicare. I would just suggest visiting your local Human Resource Department; as they should be able to link you up with a directory full of local physicians who are accepting that type of insurance. Otherwise there would be no need for Medicare if no doctors ever accepted it. You could also ask the doctors/clinics that you already visited, for a referral to a new physician. I have been going to methadone clinic for over a year and I've taken pain reliever the whole time every night and never failed for benzos. The last two times I've taken it I've shown positive for benzodiazepenes. Why is it just now doing that? ## Hi Brittany, hope you're doing well. Can you post exactly what the brand or store name of the over the counter PMS pain reliever you are taking? There are a number of different ones so if you can list the brand name it should be possible to look up the active ingredients and see if any of those could cause a failed result during a lab test.

Can I take celebrex, decaadron, beneadryl, emend, propofol, versed and fentanyl, just for one day with 40mg if methadone ## The Fentanyl and Methadone can both increase the amounts of each other that you absorb, so it would be best not to mix them, unless your doctor approves. After 18 years of filling my methadone prescription in Sevierville, TN., I can no longer find a pharmacy that will fill it because my Doctor is in another city than where I live. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Knoxville, TN or Sevierville that will fill it? ## I'm sure you've probably got it figured out by now or at least I hope you have but just for future reference a friend I used to hang with goes to a pain clinic in Knoxville and he always gets his methadone filled at a Food City in Newport. ## What was the reason they used to not fill it anymore? Especially after 18 years!

I have been struggling with getting clean on and off for years. I take methadone and missed 2 days so on the 2nd day i took a dose. This can't b more than like 1/4 gram, if even that. 2 days later i had a saliva test. I hadn't used for weeks b4 that. I had looked everywhere 4 those mouthwashes that were suppose 2 work. I cldnt find any. I brushed my whole mouth over and over and over and used about a 1/2 btl of the medium sized listerine to rinse my mouth about 4x b4 going in. I also tried hard not 2 get the swab thing wet really. That was 5days ago I shld b finding out any day now...I'm so nervous. I can't change it am I ok? ## Only about two days. I have cirrhosis and the Dr's in peoria il said to go to methadone clinic but I don't have a ride everday ## I havery cirrhosis of the liver and I'm addicted to pain medication the Sr suggested I go to methadone clinic. I live in canton Illinois and there is no clinic in canton. peoria, Illinois is the closest clinic to me but you have to go on a daily basis and I have no way there everyday. anyone know of a clinic in peoria, Illinois where you don't have to go every single day?

I was addicted to opiates for three years due to several work comp surgeries, I chose to use methadone to get off the pills ,now it was been a year since I started the methadone and I am ready to titrate down and just get away from it all!! Can anybody tell me what I am going to feel lIke, will I have withdrawal symptoms the whole time?? I take 100m a day, I'm a little scared of how I'm gonna feel, can somebody help??? ## It is very hard to say. Methadone is known to create severe withdrawal symptoms, that's why most people never actually get off of it and end up on a lifetime maintenance dose. Hello Everyone. I moved to Trenton, NJ from San Francisco. My doctor there helped me with Methadone and morphine. I am looking for a doctor in New Jersey, or close by, maybe new york or phily who prescribes methadone for pain. I have taken methadone in SF for over a year, and I have bottles and I am sure my doctor there can send my new doctor my medical records, but I am not sure whom to contact. Most doctors here say they do not prescribe medication for pain. I am probably calling the wrong doctors. i am in severe pain and have been given methadone10mg from my pain dr. in mi.now i live in tn.and i cant get a dr. because i dont have ins.i have to travel back to mi. to get it!how else can i get it? ## They have clinics that you can go to but the downfall is you go everyday for so many months and then you build up to a week at a time. My husband goes and gets 6 bottles of 80mil liquid in Huntsville. Al. You have to have a clean urine test that only shows the methadone. If you've taken anything over the counter tell them. I filed a complaint with NY Health Dept and was told a doctor can refuse to treat anyone at anytime as long as they give emergency care. That was a script for a mild narcotic for a month. If I took it as prescribed I would go into a massive withdrawal and would probably result in serious injury. I go to a methadone clinic and my urinalysis tests are sent to a lab and I pay extra for a GCMS. My question is, how long will it take for my tests to come back clean if I've been taking 10mgs of aderrall once daily for the past month? Hey! I'm taking 8mg dilaudid every 6 hours/4 times a day, equaling 28mg of dilaudid total daily. I have about 15ml of liquid methadone and i was wondering if i could take methadone before during or after my dilaudid dose and still receive therapeutic effects; Will mixing cause the dilaudid to not work? Could i go into withdrawal?; would the methadone compound the effects of the dilaudid? Thank you guys very much, i hope everyone is well (: ## Sally those two drugs would most likely add to each others' effects and could be potentially dangerous if you are already taking dilaudid regularly. Methadone is also an opioid medication (not a blocker) so it would not throw you into withdrawal like how suboxone would. Hope this helps and wish you the best.
