I took 30 mg of Methadone in the morning and an 8 mg Subutex in the afternoon. I don't feel sick. Am I supposed to? ## My DR started me on 10mg of methadone. couple of days later, my mouth was parcially numb and my taste was all messed up. I didnt even consider it to be the methadone. I thought it was something I ate. but then after a few more days, I figured it had to be the methadone. Has anyone else had methadone cause their inside moth to be numb or totally mess with their taste buds? I just got approved for full Medicaid and on methadone. I go to an methadone clinic in Huntsville Alabama but this one doesn't take Medicaid.I REALLY JUST WANT AN DOCTOR INSTEAD OF GOING TO AN CLINIC. I've been on methadone for many years,as I have already been thru trial & errors of list of medications and procedures, including the so-called "pain block," to no avail. If anyone knows a doctor or pain management facility that takes medicaid and isn't affraid of writing narcotics, it would b greatly appreciated!! Even if I have to pay office visit, I am willing to do so.

I'm getting ready to call a Dr to see abt getting on subutex. I'm currently on 96mgs of methadone and go to a methadone clinic and have been for 10 years and I'm done w it! I'm hoping it is possible to switch directly to subutex from 96mgs of methadone(since it's subutex, not suboxone). I'm also on valium for anxiety and have been on benzodiazepines for legitimate anxiety for 10 years(mostly valium). My friend who went to a Dr. and was prescribed suboxone, says he thinks that they don't let you be on valium if they're going to prescribe you subutex/ suboxone. Is this true? I originally posted concerns about my pain doc finding methadone in my system. They called and only found valium, which the detox gave me instead of my prescribed klonopin. The pain docs office asked me about the valium, and I told them the hospital gave it to me for my panic attacks while I was there. They asked the name of the hospital, and when I was there. I got my drug screen back from my pain doctor today from last month and he said that my methadone showed up but my metabolites were way way lower than my past. He says that means they aren't being broken down which can mean that im tampering with my urine and possibly scrapping my pill into my urine. Never ever in my 18 yrs of going to a pain doctor have I ever done such a thing so im trying to figure out what else could possibly cause this because he said it could be plenty of reasons but none good on my part. Plz help.

If I took Xanax 5 days before a mouth swab at my methadone clinic will I fail? Also if I have take homes for the whole week and I fail will they call me in early or just wait till the following week for me to go in? So if I get terminated, there are drugs to help raise dopamine levels as quickly as possible? I cannot go thru PAWS for a year. I won't be able to function. I hope they just used the standard 5-panel test, then I'll be OK. If they use the Gas Chromography test, I'm screwed. I did the right thing in seeking proper alcohol withdrawal monitoring. OK, first of all right now I am fuming. I am mad and upset because I have been off of heroin for over 3 years and been on methadone maintenance the whole time. I have never once in all this time failed a drug test or had any issues. I have not used anything at all. Today, I go in to get my dose and weekly take homes. I don't want to be tied to a clinic. I was on pain mngmt for a few years and did great, then moved to Sacramento. HELP ## I was on pain mngmt in the bay area. 160 mg methadone a day 6 mg dilaudid breakthrough a day and 6 mg klonopin for anxiety. On this schedule of medicine I did great. It changed my life. Then I moved to Sacramento and can't find a doctor that will help for the life of me. I have a brain tumor, had a head injury, broke my neck and back, right arm amputated (phantom) pain right leg neuropathy. I am on the real. Can anyone help?

So I'm in a rehab and on methadone. There is a female here "jen" who WAS on methadone a few years ago...so one day after going to the clinic on her way home she gets into a car accident and the other cars driver dies, it's not the victims fault either, it was jens....Jen is saying it was the clinics fault, that they double dosed her. Apparently the computers were down blah blah blah. I really don't buy it that she was double dosed. If they manually dose u, they have another nurse right next to them verifying the dose.... My question: Is there really a way for drs to test her blood to see she had double the amount of methadone in her??..she's adamant she was double dosed and takes no ownership in her accident..

I have been a Methadone patient for nearly 8 years and took about 2 months to get clean upon starting treatment. For nearly 7 years I've been at monthly take-homes. I've never used again nor had another dirty drug screen. Let me say this b/c I think it's part of the problem I'm about to address. I switched to a Crossroads treatment facility about 2 years ago due to moving and have had numerous issues here. I have a friend that I'm worried about. She has been taking methadone, oxycodone and methamphetamine. She is 2 weeks away from having her baby... She has said her whole pregnancy that she was gonna quit. I found out that wasn't true. I live in Colonia NJ and I'm currently going to a clinic to get methadone. The clinic is severely interfering with my daily life. Are there any private doctors in NJ that will prescribe Methadone? I'm not looking for a suboxone doctor. Thank you ## The Methadone addiction treatment laws actually fall under federal regulations and all of them require periodic clinic visits for the patients. Private doctors are actually not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment, because they can't provide the same supervision and do not have the same training those in the clinic setting do. My boyfriend was given a small round white pill with no imprints, just a line on one side. Yes there is a shortage and not just Methadone, and it is being kept very quiet but this month every day more and more people are finding out. In Oregon South Coast there is not one pharmacy within 100 miles that has any. They were substituting 5mg but that is now gone also. The suppliers are not getting it or any answers as to why or when they will. Also, other narcotics as Vicadan and Norco, and some Attention Deficiet Disorders (Concerta) also are not there to reorder. Someone needs to get this out ASAP to the public. I go to a methadone clinic and for the past several months have been suffering from extreme fatigue and my mom was diagnosed w/ narcolepsy at about my age. So I started taking 10 mgs of aderrall a day for about a month. Obviously w/ out a script I can't do that while at this methadone clinic. So I quit taking them completely exactly 12 days ago from today; and today I had a urine screen that will be sent off to a lab for testing. "Any chance the adderrall might still show up after 12 full days??" ## I did pass that urine test. it was 12 days since I'd last taken aderrall . ## Clean of aderrall after 120 hours?? Also drinking Super Beets. Its supposed to really clean out your kidneys and is great for your heart and puts extra Oxygen in your bloodstream.
