My daughter has been on Methadone for almost 3 years they told her that she would only have to be on it a month to six weeks and they would bring her back down off of it detox her and they didn't so she tried to take herself off the methadone and was taking Adderall and drinking Red Bull everyday she wound up in a mental ward talking crazy delusional will my daughter come back to reality ## Hello, Theresa! Do you know what country, web site, or store this was obtained from? Could be from outside the U.S., or over the counter, or even an illegal drug (hopefully not the last one!) I was on Methadone for two years 70 mg. I tapered off and switched to subs. I was told to wait 3-4 days to take it. Well the 2nd day I had a 100 mcg patch. I cut it into 8 pieces and took a piece the last 6 days. Today is Friday, I took a last piece yesterday around 2 pm, so its been roughly 20 hours. How long do I have to wait to take my Suboxone? I am flying to Mazatlan, Mexico from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. My Dr., has given me a week of carries for this trip. Each dose will be in a small bottled with the label from the drug store on it. My Doctor told me to put them in my carry on, in a ziplocked baggie and lined up so customs can see them clearly. I am wondering if I need to do more and are there going to be any problems because it is a controlled substance.

I am new to the methadone and was wondering why my doctor would put me on methadone when he knew I had been addicted to Oxycontin before and had to go into the hospital for the withdrawals. They put me on the liquid methadone to get me off of the Oxycontin. How bad is it going to be to get off of the methadone if that time ever comes? I have been on the 10 mgs roxane methadones, 70 mgs daily, for 6 yrs for pain management. I've tried the mallinckrodt but they didn't work as well on me, and several others I know taking methadones for pain. My pharmacy and all the local pharmacies have now quit carrying roxanes and just have the malli's and Acends. I've heard terrible things about the Acends like withdrawals and not working at all. Ive done a lot of research and learned The Roxane Methadones have a distinct taste and disolve super fast but the Malli's are harder to disolve and even though they have the same ingredients they have sand in its inactive ingredient, roxanes don't. I took 2 and a half 10mg methadone at 11pm on saturday. I have a drug test monday at 12:30pm. I need to know how to pass! I bought 2 of the 20 dollar detox drinks also, will these help? PLEASE HELP!! ## Is this a standard urine tox screen for like probation? If so, rest easy. Methadone is ALL synthetic, not like heroin, morphine, or even Vicodin. It is a specific test (that costs extra money) and is not part of the standard tox screen for probation. They will test for opiates but, methadone will not show UN a standard opiate test because it's 100% synthetic. I just recently switched from 70 mg of methadone to suboxone. The Dr told me to wait 3 days. The clinic insisted that I waited to go down to 30 mg before switching to subutex so it scared the crap out of me. So on the third day I took a 1 mg strip of sub and it put me into total withdrawal. It was horrible, I couldn't understand why he didn't prescribe me subutex so it didn't have the opiate blocker. Anyway I got thru the night and woke up and just took 4 mgs and felt a little better then on day 5. I went to see my Dr to explain what's going on and asked why he didn't give me subutex instead of suboxone. He said it doesn't make a difference in this instance. I took a quarter piece of a methadone wafer, that would be considered 10 milligrams. I orally took it on Sunday and have a oral mouth swab test tomorrow which is Friday. What are my chances of passing? I did not have methadone in my system before taking this 1 10mg pill. It was first time I took methadone since about 2 months prior.

I had a mouth test where I had to hold the test under my tough til the tip turned blue!! First ?, Is methadone hydrochloride the same as methadone? And I weigh about 106. I took 30 mg of the methadone hydrochloride! I drank a lot of water that night before as well as all the way up til she came due to I thought I would be giving a urine test new. To me I was giving a spit test!!! Help me!!! I don't use any other drugs so that's not what I'm worried about. I took 30 mgs of methadone on Sunday August 29th. I have a state probation drug test on Friday Sept 2nd, 2016. I haven't taken anymore since Sunday. Will methadone show up in the state probation drug test which I think is a 7 panel urine drug test? I'm not sure.
