This is so sad. If medications were legal for responsible adults, we would not have this problem. This problem lies with the fact that many people sell their medication or abuse it. Be honest with your physician and you will be amazed at the help you will get. BTW, methadone will kill you. If you aren't ready to detox, go to someone that prescribes Suboxone. It will not cost you anymore than methadone will. You will get a monthly supply. Just reading these posts breaks my heart. It is obvious that many of you are drug addicts. How many days would it take for Heroin not to show up in a persons urine? Also would Methadone read as an Opiate on a urine test? ## I dosed 4 days ago. Hey, how the heck do you find out the results of your random drug test at methadone clinics? I gave them my sample on monday morning (June 20) and it is now June 24th and I have heard nothing. There is no way it is positive unless there is a false positive because of ibuprofen. I take 800 mg of OTC ibuprofen almost everyday for my aches and pains. The reason why I am anxious is because this is my first random after admission and yesterday I found out that I have a 10 am appointment with my counselor that I never scheduled! My next appointment should be July 5th which is still there. I tried finding out what it is about and the front desk had no ideas and told me to ask my counselor so I called her three times and left a voicemail early and of course no call back. im a carpenter in ny, I was going to a methadone clinic, but unfortunately I work from 5am-5pm daily, and that's when there open. I need an alternative way to get methadone. My husband has a dilaudid Medtronic pain pump and he is also taking methadone for breakthrough. Can any of the women out there tell me if taking methadone stopped thier periods? I have been on methadone for 4 years now and as soon as I went over 35mg it completely stopped and It has not come back since. I am on 60mg now. I did get lowered to 30 mg at one time years ago and it started right up again. Does anyone know if this might be dangerous? I live in south Ark & my dr. Realesed me from his case load while i was having emergcy brain surg. He claims i had undesirable behavior? I am on 70mg of methadone daily. Before I was on methadone heroin would only last in my system 2 days, 3 days at the most and that's only if I barely drank water and spent those days in bed. Now that I'm on methadone it's not that easy. Unfortunately, I have used heroin again and am due for a urine screen soon. I just need to know if I need to hold off the UA for one more day or a whole week. The last time this happened I had 4 days clean before the UA with lots of water and exercise in between and it still came up hot. Is there any reason why my body doesn't metabolize opiates as quickly anymore? In going to a methadone clinic for approximately six months. I and my fiance at 130 and she at 135. They start tapering you up if you miss 4 days. In other words they start you in something like 50 and then 75 and then 100 and then 130. Is there a code word or some sort of life hack That would convince them to start your dose a little higher or on the same dose itself. One time a few months ago we did just that. On the second day we cleared. The third day when you're supposed to get a 100mg dose, we missed it. We made it in the next day. We let him know we had a methadone the day before; we split a 10 milligram Methadone so they just gave us our photos. The main problem with Methadone is that is so highly habit forming and addictive.
