Free Or Low Cost Methadone Clinic

Hello Posters, I am a 60 year old man who has gone from Methadone being free to the point of having to pay $12 per day. I can no longer afford this. CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYWHERE IN THE United States where there is a free Methadone Clinic or a clinic that is subsidized. I don't know what to do. Please try to help me. Thank you for any post or info you can give me.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any completely free ones. There are some state run clinics that will do an income based treatment, so some people don't pay anything, while what others pay can vary depending on their income.

However, if you do work or have some type of income, that's liable to be about $12 a day for daily treatments, anyway.

North Carolina accepts Medicaid for methadone. Cash price is 7$ per day w/o insurance. I have heard some states are income based on a sliding scale for those with no insurance. Does anyone know a state like this???

Hello does anyone know what I can say to my clinic to lower my payment. I currently pay $118 a week! And its just much. I have two teenagers and life is expensive as it is! Please help?

I have m.s as well as have survived cancer twice. I am 51 and full time care giver for my mother. Have been out of pain mngmnt since caring for mother because can not work, dont make enough to hire in home care. If i were to use one of these clinics while caring for her would i ever be able to go back to pain mngmnt? And are there any in or near gulfport mississip. We are moving soon as i can arrange it back to ohio are there any in or around lebanon ohio area as well . With m.s comes a whole host of conditions that are very painful and im desperate. Please help!
