Methadone Problems And Symptoms - Just Started Taking It

I've been having problems with my methadone. I am taking it to get off of painkillers so i have a few questions and would love some feedback asap. So i just started the methadone clinic 3 weeks ago and I've made it up to 70 mgs. Well first it's very weird but since about 40 mgs my lower back is in severe pain and it's a pain I can't really explain. It's like it feels it's stretching my lower back muscles but tightening them at the same time. Why is this happening? Also when I take a deep breath my back maybe behind my lungs is like a bruise pain or soreness but it is in my back, any thoughts? Last one is I can't seem to urinate like I did before. It takes me couple minutes to start my flow, and have constipation. What can i do to help my bladder and go number 2? I definitely need some feedback. Can you please give me some help?

As reported by the FDA, Methadone has been known to cause muscle spasms and pain, in some people that take it. Chest and back pain are also listed, along with nausea, dizziness, and constipation.... and the decreased urination, along with other urinary issues.\

Chest pain is something that should always be checked out by informing your doctor, just in case something else may be going on.

However, most side effects are transient and they will go away, once you're on one steady dose for awhile, so your body can get used to the medication. That may take 4 to 5 weeks, if they worsen, or persist after that time period, you should inform your doctor.
