I usually take methadone i get from the clinic but i wasted a bottle with dirty water out of the sink.. I was given a bottle of orange liquid from a family member who says it's methadone from hospice. I'm still scared to take it cuz ive only seen liquid methadone in pink and this is an almost clear orange color.

I have been taking liquid methodone for the last 4 years for opiate dependancy. I was at a previous clinic getting 120 mil for the last 4 years. I have recently moved to another clinic and they have moved my dose to 200 mil, and I am feeling sick later in the day. My question is, why is the 200 mil not holding me till the next mornings dose at this new clinic when at the old clinic the 120 mil held me till the next morning dose. I am currently taking the Roxaine methodaone.

Sheena, there is an orange Methadone, we have had other posts about it, however, there is no way of knowing what is in that bottle from someone else, so taking it is probably not a good idea.
Erin, I am not sure on that. Have you talked to them about the problem?

methadone usually is colored at the facility...food coloring some methadone comes already to dose and is sweet..like cough syrup..other is bitter and has coloring toi it usually to identify the source...it doesnt matter what color it is.

Depending on what your new clinic uses, the orange methadone is usually much stronger when I switched from orange to cherry I increased a hundred milligrams as well I am now on 219 and it holds me until about 4pm

That is what I have and I can't feel it I took up to 75 mg and usually all I need is one or 210 mg pills from the doctor but I was recently discharged and I was been very very sick it came from the reputable person but I don't know where he got it and years ago I was on the clinic and it was orange because they used to break up a 40 mg Diskit and mix it with water

I just had orange from the hospital its nasty as heck. If it tastes gross and burns your chest like rubbing alcohol when it goes down then I promise it's the right stuff. I actually refused mine the next day. That stuff is gross.

I was wondering...usually at the hospital I get 19, 10mg pills and 1, 5mg pill. They must have just invested in this junk! It is like alcohol and burns for most of the day! Your post is the first one I've found that matches this description! I was really leary. Thanks for ur post!
