Methadone Clinic That Accepts Medicaid For Payment (Page 4) (Top voted first)
Updatedlive in seminole county, Florida. I am on medicaid and want to know if there is a clinic or doctor that will accept medicaid for methadone maintenance.
If you are a new patient and have never been a methadone clinic patient before then yes you do have to go everyday except Sundays depending on the state. In Phoenix, Arizona clinics that I have been a patient at and in Kalamazoo, Michigan it's everyday except for Sundays that you have to go and drink your dose daily on site. On Saturdays you drink your dose there as well and they give you a take home bottle of methadone for Sunday. After you show clean drug panels and see your counselor once or twice a month depending on the state that you live in, then you can get more take outs after 3 months. You will then only have to go 4 days a week. After another 3 months of clean drug panels you will only have to go 3 times a week. Then another 3 months of clean drug panels and you only have to go twice a week. It took me just about 1 year to only have to go once a week every Monday and I get 6 take out bottles. Then another 3 months of clean drug panels and you only have to go once every two weeks and then another 3 months you only have to go once a month and that is as many take outs that you are allowed. It took me almost 2 years of clean drug panels and seeing my counselor like I am supposed to twice a month to get my once a month take outs.

There is a methadone clinic that accepts Medicaid in Lake worth Florida. They take Humana, Prestige, Molina, and Sunshine health. I live 30 miles from there but I go. It saves me 496 dollars monthly. It's well worth the trip. It's called central treatment center of lake worth. Not owned by colonial. I sincerely recommend this methadone treatment center. {edited for privacy}. Best wishes to you all. I suffered from addiction for thirty years and this was my solution.
No. I went to Tallahassee for 4 years and now in Panama City. There is no aid available that i know of for us at this point in this area.

Need a methadone Dr who takes medicaid in Kissimmee Fl. I have major back injuries and spinal stenosis. And I am on disability for this. Ilive in pain severe pain everyday. Can't for the liife of me why these clinics charge so much. Only been on methadone for 2 months so I'm thinking of coming off already. But what do I do for pain. I don't think my insurance cares or the docs.So I guess I suffer. And suboxone doesn't help for this kind of pain.
Help! Need to know what kind of Dr to go to for methadone treatment and medicaid must pay for it. Clinics are too much money. On disability for spinal stenosis etc. This all started in my 30's but now I am 56. Live in Kissimmee Florida and most Drs look down on you or look at you like you're worthless. TY DR's... I'm in pain daily and going to a clinic but don't know what I'm gonna do. If anyone can help me please do so. For all chronic pain patients who have problems with addiction I hope the best for you all. And for all dealers out there you should think about where your soul will end when this life is over.

A Dr that prescribes methadone and takes Medicaid for office visit. By Lafayette louisiaba
Are you saying you have to go EVERY DAY and once every six months they give you ONE EXTRA BOTTLE?! That's TOTALLY insane! Wow, you can really go on a family vacation under that system. I hope I am misreading your intent or you mean that the take-home's INCREASE every six months. Because that's just treating you like a criminal.
Methadone is a short term "fix" for opioid addiction, it is not meant for long term use, and I don't like my tax dollars going to pay for someone's new addiction, long term. I have heard of people that have been on methadone for years...that was never the purpose of it and obviously its being abused...I am not speaking of you, I am speaking of people that abuse it and our govt that allows it.

If your story is true then your doctor in Colorado has compromised himself and the rest of his patients by prescribing controlled dangerous substances outside the scope of his DEA license. If you think as a patient benefiting from government assistance is going to accommodate your UNREASONABLE requests at your new Florida location I suspect you'll still be searching for such at the turn of the next century.Get a clue and join us in reality no one owes you a free ride in euphoria. Sorry but that entitlement issue drives me crazy
someone please tell me if there is any methadone clinics in Georgia that takes Medicaid. Please help
