What company makes these ASC 116 and when did they come out on the market?

Why are all these pharmacies suddenly using new stuff , tosave money its all about money fr drug companies and kickbacks its real greaseball crap. No one is trying to help the patient amymore.

Ill explain this ome time no pne knows what the hell is going om with meds and different manufacturers its a business just like all med treatment and every service in this country. So in closing ill say the government does whatever and no pne really knows wtf is real or necessary. Get a clue people.

I have been on methadone for fifty years. Have taken about every kind there is.. Presently am taking 175 mg. of red liquid. Top dose has been 250 of yellow biskets
(really diskettes). Over the years have been in hospitals and taken every variety of white tablets; triangles, green. Methadone is methadone is methadone. I don't care what color shape or format (liquid vs. tablets). It's always been right. For fifty years I've been hearing, This stuff isn't holding me. Relax. You can think yourself into withdrawal.

I've been on methadone for 10 years consecutively; been thru several different pills. Really no big difference if any at all. Most of this is probably due to other factors. Ever have a day where u know u took ur full dose of medicine but feel terrible? Or took less than usual but feel surprisingly well? This is because there are an endless amount of physiological factors that can effect how you feel. Good luck to all. Stay positive!

These pills have a weak opiate in them. I took a drug panel myself and I came up negative for methadone but positive in the opiates category and here's the kicker, I got them from a pharmacy in NJ.

The active ingredient is not exact as well. There is a 20% leeway the manufactures are given either way. Obviously it would typically be less than. I can't believe you guys say they are the same when they are far from it. Maybe u didn't know but now u do. And if u have never taken it u would know. Very frustrating.

It may be the same amount of active ingredient but the binders are different which can cause medication to be different. It's not in your head. They are different. I have taken many of different brands and some work better than others.

When 2 different manufacturers make the same medication. Each pill will have the same milligrams of methedon. The difference is that they may use different fillers to process the medication you may bee having a reaction those. It is not uncommon.fillers to

You're dropping from 90 mg to 50 mg way too fast. That's why you feel in withdrawal and threw up. I take those pills when I can't go to my clinic and they work fine.

I definately agree with everyone who has had problems with ASC 116. I was taking a different brand and due to cost by the Pharmacy it was given to me one month. It scared me so bad. I didn't think I was gonna make it the first 3 days I took it. OMG it tore me up. No pain control and withdrawal. The pain was so bad. Say what you want to but there is a HUGE difference between ASC and other Methadone. I feel so bad deep down in my heart for anyone who is stuck on that medication and can't get help getting anything else. I sure wish something could be done about it. I've read page after page of complaints and nothing is ever done.WHY????

Well I have been on methadone for over 25 years from an opiate addiction and have switched between every possible manufacturer. I have had the big orange biscuits, the big white biscuits, the red liquid, the tic tac rectangles, the 54 142's, and now the asc 116's, and so sorry Danielson, the dude is right, 10mg is 10mg. I have objectively analyzed how I felt, and there is NO difference whatsoever. It is in the mind ONLY, unless, however, you are allergic or somehow sensitive to the inert ingredients. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Sorry to correct you, but your statement is erroneous, Comparing and suggesting that 10mg of Methodone (Or any other same amount) is the same no matter whom the manufacture is, is Wrong. Just like no two Mechanics, With the same Certifications will perform exactly the same, Just like two different Doctors will not provide the same attention to detail to their patients, I am using these scenarios just as an example. Pharmaceutical companies add certain ingredients that are not used by others, the methadone is the same, but the extra compound ingredients may differ, this is done for color, taste, stomach acid metabolization... COST....etc, therefore, sometimes these other ingredients do not sit well with the biological make up of each individual patient, So, there you have the Facts, Hope this helps Guys, And my opinion is offered as Factual Information...And NOT in a Derogatory Way to anyone, Respectfully....Kel.

Hmm..don't know. It was just a comment I read in an article. Was just seeking an opinion of others. I think calling out someone as an addict was rude. We dont set out to be addicts. Most of us i believe are just dependants due to how our bodies work. Chronic pain sufferers need relief. If this is the only med that works , well thats how it goes. Please dont judge...you never know when it will be you. I never thought i would be in this position. Take it day by day, my friends.
