norsulin dosage ## There are two dosages of Norsulin available, one contains 500mgs of Metformin with 2.5mgs of Glipizide and the other contains 500mgs of Metformin with 5mgs of Glipizide, both are usually taken twice daily. Looks different than my previous pills, just want to double check. ## this was my post, found out that the pharmacy had the wrong manufacturer on the label. Mystery solved. Thanks! ## Pharmacies, unfortunately, do make mistakes, luckily in your case it was just something incorrect on the label and not something dangerous! :-) Metformin is an oral antidiabetic medication. This isn't my first bad experience with a drug manufactured by Teva. Not only is my Teva Metformin ineffective, but I had the same identical problem with Teva's generic for Protonix (it was like taking a placebo and I located many similar complaints in an online forum). My doctor finally prescribed a name-brand and my symptoms disappeared and my sugar levels are near normal once again. I always ask before picking up new prescriptions now; I will NOT accept any pills by Teva Pharmaceuticals of Israel -- I think they should be investigated and the pills tested by the FDA. ## teva metformin and metformin ER do not work right.
