This isn't my first bad experience with a drug manufactured by Teva. Not only is my Teva Metformin ineffective, but I had the same identical problem with Teva's generic for Protonix (it was like taking a placebo and I located many similar complaints in an online forum). My doctor finally prescribed a name-brand and my symptoms disappeared and my sugar levels are near normal once again. I always ask before picking up new prescriptions now; I will NOT accept any pills by Teva Pharmaceuticals of Israel -- I think they should be investigated and the pills tested by the FDA. ## teva metformin and metformin ER do not work right.
