Do metformin withdrawal side effects go away ## Hello, Fluffy! How are you doing? Well, that depends on whether or not they are actually withdrawal effects, or if they are the result of rebound effects and elevated sugar levels. Did you stop taking it cold turkey? If so why and what have you replaced it with to control your blood sugar? ## Am nt fluffy its my bf his dr stopped cold turkey i had blood test there good except leaking kidneys i hi blood pressure.i got headaches muscle pains.tight stomach bleeding vomiting dizziness will this go.and am on glipizide.he shudnt be on glip same ingredients i think its from the metformin i had withdrawals from benzo i still suffering by god its painful how i know he got same symptoms

I would like to know is this Metformin a time release? ## Hello, Dona! How are you? This is a 500mg Metformin tablet, but it is a regular release, not a time released formulation. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was taking reclimet tablets twice a day for the past 2 years and my sugar level is under control. I used to take pioz7.5 alongwith but have discontinued it from last month as my doctor said I do not need it now. now I am in usa for 3 months and will return on 26th may. I have run out of reclimet tablets, but I do have pioz 7.5. should I continue with pioz7.5 from now on? or just stop taking any sugar tablets? I am 64 years old and physically fit; my bp is under control and so is my thyroid.[eltroxin.5 per day] please advise. I am not in a position to consult doctors here. so... ## You can't just stop taking any, because that risks a rebound effect that may cause your sugar levels to rise to dangerous levels. left my metformin home when I went on a cruise. stopped in mexico at a pharmacy right when you get off the ship....bought a bottle that says mevicfor but white ...no imprint and oblong shape...on side states victory enterpises S.A.DE C.V ## This is listed as containing 500mgs of Metformin, but that's the best I can do, there's no way to know if that's really what you've purchased, since it's foreign. Metformin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and hypoglycemia. I received Metformin in packets. They have no imprint and upon further I discovered that they do NOT manufacture METFORMIN. I am outraged. Is this the case. I will have to file a dispute and order real Metformin asap I need it for my diabetes. Is this fraud ## where did u get the metformin from? I picked up a generic refill for metformin. They have always been white. These are redish with a mavi or mav1 imprint on one side. I took metformin 500 mg once a day for two days and had following reactions. I am taking Glycomet 500 S.R. for last 1.5 years my insulin was high and i have pcos also..simultaneoulsly, i have hypothoriod also..i m taking this medicine daily after dinner.
