Metformin Prescription?

Is it possible to get a prescription for Metforman/glucophage online or to find it online? I am worried, because I have been gaining weight rapidly this past year. I am morbidly obese, and my doctors will not help me because my A1c was only 5.5. I am worried about type 2 diabetes, and I think my A1c is high enough that medicine may benefit me, even though I am technically not diabetic yet. I have read about diabetics who get their A1c below 5.5 with metformin, and there seem to be no adverse affects even when they continue taking the medicine at these levels. I am also having problems with ovulation and was recently diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia, a condition associated with insulin resistance. I have been struggling to conceive for three years now. Ultrasound shows no evidence of PCOS, and I think I am ovulating, but I worry that my estrogen levels are still too high. I have started a workout program, but I am so overweight that I've got a long long ways to go to be back into the healthy range. I think a low dose of metformin may help me curb the weight gain, correct any hormonal imbalance, help me feel less tired, and improve my chances of being able to have a child before my husband and I are too old to conceive.

And no, there is no legal way to get the medication like that.

As to an problem with ovulation, how are your cycles? How long are they? Do you suffer from PMS? Heavy Bleeding?
