Meridia Use And Possible Fertility Issues?

I was on Meridia for 8 years and while I thought at the time it was a life saver (it definitely does work for weight loss and mood stabilization) I now fear it could have had a negative impact on my fertility. Has anyone heard of this as a side effect or suspect it could be a possibility?

Meridia contains the active ingredient Sibutramine and that is quite a long time to take it and it usually causes the opposite in regards to mood issues.

However, since it is not intended to be used for that long of a time period, there have not been any studies done on the long-term possible effects on female fertility.

It is also highly unlikely that they will ever be done, because it has been removed from the market, due to the extreme risk it caused of cardiovascular dangers.

Have you talked to your doctor about it?
