Promethazine IS NOT an antipsychotic!

Promethazine is an antihistamine/anitemetic used to treat allergic reactions and prevent nausea.

That is why, in the case of this pill, it is coupled with the narcotic, to help prevent nausea as a side effect!

And Amphetamines were used for a short time as an antidepressant. I'm sure the reason that they dont RX it for depression anymore is because patients taking. It were becoming speed freaks

Yes, NO LONGER, but originally was & still has potential similar side-effects such as NMS & TD. And not to say that it still can't be prescibed as one !
