I'm taking meloxicam 7.5 mg and I have no refills. I'm having problems with night pain and wanted to take Aleve PM. I took the last Meloxicam about 12 hours ago. Could I take Aleve PM or do I need to wait for the Meloxicam to leave my system completely?

Hello, Liz! How are you?
They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, so unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you can usually just switch smoothly from one to the other.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
With the added ingredient in the Aleve PM, you may also experience dry mouth.
