Melmet For Pcod . But I Feel Dizzy ,nauseous After Taking It
UpdatedHi. I have been diagnosed with PCOD and my gynaecologist has prescribed Melmet-500 to be taken daily after breakfast. I feel dizzy and I have nausea after I take it. I feel fine only after I take some juice or eat something. I had been tested for diabetes before and my blood sugar levels and HBA1C are normal. Could someone please help me with this?

Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to NIH reports. You may also experience flatulence, diarrhea, and low blood sugar.
Have you tried taking it with food and not on any empty stomach?
