Medrol Pack Side Effects

My 17 year old daughter was prescribed a 6 day Medrol pack and 6 day Z-pack for a sinus infection. On day 3 she got hit with significant depression that has gotten worse each day even though the dose is decreasing. Talked to the doctor today and he told her to stop taking it (she will only miss the very last day of 4 mg). Wondering how long it might take for her emotions to stabilize.

Hello, Donna! How is she doing?

It may take a week, or so, before the side effects fully go away. Others, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include acne, headache and insomnia.

Has she shown any improvement, yet?

My m.d. put me on Medrol pack.I did not sleep last night after only 1 day of this med.Second day after my dinner dose I started having anxiety and depression.The medrol pack was #4.I want to just stop taking this stuff.What will happen if I do ?

I've been on 16 milligrams of Medrol for almost a month. This drug has been a lifesaver for me. My question is, do the hot flashes and sweating ever go away? I take my dose as I am sitting down to eat breakfast, but before I eat any food. Do you think the hot flashes and sweating would lessen if I take it halfway through my meal?
