What is the maximum dose of suboxone or subutex when you have severe pain?

I'm on 16mg a day. Started 15 years ago to get off 80mg oxy& 150mg fentanyl patches
I luv it. My chronic pain has never been better. Suboxone however is potent like 40x's more potent than morphine, but w/o the high.

I just read this back after reading new replies. I totally forgotten that I was going to ask my doctor for subutex! I'm taking it for pain relief and I need that to start working again like it used to. I will ask my doctor for it next refill which will be in 28 days and let everyone know how it goes. If there's a difference with my pain relief because right now it doesn't work the way it used to. I've been on it for years though so maybe that's why. More to come...
