The maximum safe daily dosage for the muscle relaxant methocarbamol is 8 grams a day, or 8,000 milligrams, divided into 4 daily doses of no more than 2 grams or 2,000 milligrams each.

The higher the dosage, the more intense the side effects can be, which can include: nausea, dizziness, headache and drowsiness.
